The Hyde Amendment prevents tax dollars from being used to pay for abortions and has been included in every federal spending bill since 1976.

It will be the first to go so this will now mean we will pay for abortion with our tax dollars.
Now, as the movement builds on unprecedented support for the measure’s repeal, and as Joe Biden and Kamala Harris—both of whom have publicly rejected the provision, though Biden only recently rescinded his support of the amendment during the 2019 Democratic primary presidential race—prepare to enter the White House come January,

But not surprising, at all.
Indeed. And this is exactly what was warned about with a Biden presidency. But apparently money for abortions isn’t a problem so long we get [insert favorite progressive agenda item here].

I think many states were already paying for the deed, with state tax dollars.
But now it can be supercharged with all the free federal $$$

Yes on steroids as all state will be allowed to use Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act

It depends on state. They are not allowed to use the money for abortion and Trump’s Title X took a big chunk of cash out of the pocket of Planned Parenthood.

Nearly 900 clinics have lost funding from a federal family-planning program since a Trump administration rule banned recipients from referring patients to abortion services, according to a new report.
Created nearly 50 years ago, Title X serves patients who are poor or don’t have health insurance by distributing $260 million in family planning grants annually.
