I only read the headline and just assumed it was the DNC response.I did not hear that…
Maybe you have a comment on the content of the speech?I’m not seeing how the pampered scion of a century old political dynasty, who basically inherited his seat in Congress is going to connect to the blue collar Dems that voted for Trump in the last election.
The speech was about the values that Americans have shared over time - obviously not shared by every single variety of American such as the Nazis that marched in Charlottesville - just the predominant values that built this country. All Americans? LOL. He did not even speak for all Democrats. There were something like 5 or 6 separate Democrat responses.
Nothing particularly noteworthy about it.Maybe you have a comment on the content of the speech?
I reckon they’re hoping he will do so the same way his equally pampered grand-uncle who basically had his elections bought for him did.I’m not seeing how the pampered scion of a century old political dynasty, who basically inherited his seat in Congress is going to connect to the blue collar Dems that voted for Trump in the last election.
I think the Dems are testing the waters. They really don’t know what sort of candidate their constituents will rally around. Should they go with a tired old bitter socialist, or a “Kennedy”?Seriously, the Dems need some new young rising stars. Tired old Elizabeth Warren is not going to cut it, Bernie and Biden are ancient, and a Kennedy (handsome and young) seems to me like a safer pick than Oprah.
