How sad that it is necessary to force people to conduct a rational lifestyle. I keep recalling the seat-belt laws. And with the lack of the usage of seat-belts, the person only endangers himself. While the resistance to the mask- wearing and not keeping social distance endangers OTHERS, too. Unconscionable.

In the countries of the former USSR, where not a few of the so-called elders look at the covid cospyrologically, there are many cases of illness and even death cases in the environment of monks and the ministers.
To prevent monasteries and churches from becoming the parable of the coronavirus retailer, all precautions prescribed by the state must be observed.
We are experiencing an unheard-of test. It is very difficult for spiritual people to experience, but this test must be endured.

When you think about the fact that in different countries there are churches where services are held, but for example if not more than 30 attendees…
In some bigger churches may be its better provide an opportunity for reservations for more older parishioners who await God’s service with such trepidation and sometimes so painfully experience its absence.
But now many are experiencing and testing online services. the main thing is that we do not get lazy after we, with God’s help, survive this pandemic.
For if someone gets used to live broadcasts online, then so that it does not become a permanent habit in the future.

There are even priests who consider “security measures” as blasphemous, I mean the measures taken on the Holy Eucharist (alcoholing / rubbing, wiping, disposable spoons … the ban on kissing crosses and icons)
I do not agree with them on this issue, because in my opinion they are simply tempting the Lord God, just like those preachers who would take a snake in their hands, or who would be back in a cage with lions.
They are heroic until they themselves end up in the hospital, or in intensive care, from where they often do not come out alive.
But, the fact that we Christians need to be always awake, and the fact that the absence of Sunday living communion affects the spiritual state of Christians is a fact.
This is noticeable when you communicate with Christians who miss Sunday services for months.
And this is the drama of the situation that the corona virus provoked.
Both warm and cold Christians become even more spiritually chilled.
And ardent Christians, too, if not awake.

Off topic, but here in the USA I’ve seen something similar. I also see it with the word “University.” Sometimes used to give a perception of credibility to an organization that is not a University.
