Bob, please continue posting this as many times as it is necessary, my friend.šŸ‘
And this one:

*We should remember that one of the crucial things that set early Christians apart from the pagan culture around them was their rejection of abortion and infanticide. Yet for thirty-five years I’ve watched prominent ā€œpro-choiceā€ Catholics justify themselves with the kind of moral and verbal gymnastics that should qualify as an Olympic event. All they’ve really done is capitulate to Roe v. Wade.

We are so blessed to have such strong leaders in our Church.

And he’s a Franciscan 😃

My sister and her husband, life long democrats have had a conversion.

They are voting Republican this year and are going to change their voter registration.
Been after them for years!šŸ‘

Fantastic! Great work:thumbsup:

How does Nevada look?

šŸ‘

Preferably, the clothing will be made out of smokable Hemp.
Seriously, the eco-friendly aspects of hemp make it a crime that it’s not being used. Among other things, it can be used for paper, and it uses a lot less water than trees. And water is going to be a bigger and bigger issue in the future.

A distinction without a difference.

No, you can never vote for someone who favors absolutely what’s called the ā€˜right to choice’ of a woman to destroy human life in her womb, or the right to a procured abortion," he said.

Cardinal Edmund Burke
Card. Raymond Burke.

No, this is false, and I don’t know how many times I have had to say it at this point. It might seem logical to say that if someone is not against something, then they must be for it, but that is not the case. He supports the choice for others to make, but you can’t say that he actively wants abortions to take place. There is a huge difference.
Yes. I agree.

What turned them? Curious about the process of conversion, as always!

Oh Yess!!! The Republican Convention was a breath of fresh air. No fault to be found with any of the fine speakers. Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are the genuine great Americans our country needs desperately. Pray :gopray:every day for their election to office. The damage we have endured with Obama as POTUS is the result of his first actions in the White House.
He revoked the ban on federal funded abortions and provided reinstatement of late-term, and approved the murder of babies that had suffered attempted abortion. He has ā€œgot to goā€ as Clint Eastwood so eloquently stated the situation. He delivered his remarks in truth and humor without faltering or confusion.

The case was made nearly four years ago and this is the message: " Because he has denied the lives of God’s children, everything he attempts will fail but the American people will suffer."

Enough said.

Yes. I agree.
Good, you’re both wrong.

Slavery: I don’t support keeping slaves, but it’s not my place to stop others from keeping them.

Murder: I don’t murder others, but I support the murderer’s right to choose for themselves.

Theft: I don’t intent to steal, but that’s between a person and her victim.

This is moral relativism at its zenith. RIGHT IS RIGHT AND WRONG IS WRONG and MURDER of INNOCENT BABIES IS ALWAYS WRONG! Voting for someone who would offer anyone the choice to do such a thing is ALWAYS WRONG!

You guys just keep on twisting yourselves in knots to keep voting Democrat.

Speaking of that…am I the only one who thought that John Boehner dissed His Eminence by simply taking over the podium without an acknowledgment, completely leaving a slightly befuddled Cardinal to quietly make his way back to the backroom on his own?
YES!!! Isn’t Boehner a Catholic? How rude!

I also thought it was horribly disrespectful to have the balloons and confettii blowing around his face. Really poorly done and frankly the RNC owes the Catholic Church a lot of gratitude and respect for all done to support their pro-life stance.

No, you are most definitely NOT the only one. There was a huge gaff in not thanking Cardinal Dolan. I am not a fan of John Boy anyway. He’s the kind of Republican that needs to GO ASAP!
Amen sistah! I started out liking him…anything is an improvement over Nancy Pelosi. But he’s sort of got that old guard aura that he can’t quite shake. His not so secret, secret negotiation with Obama who then turned and tossed him under the bus was an embarrassment.

We have some up and coming young Congressmen who would be better Speakers…I’m imagining Allen West nose to nose with Harry Reiid (of course hopefully not but you get my drift).

He is weak. Any man who would cry like a big baby when the cameras are running, needs to retire. It’s a display of absolute weakness. And he betrays conservatives frequently, he’s a moderate at best.

If all he did was support choices you might be right. But he has actively (your choice of word) worked to make abortion more availabe, to provide funding for abortion and to spread abortion to other countires using US aid. That’s not just choice, that is active support.

Don’t agree with the pro-abortion label, ok fine. But don’t say he’s pro-choice. He is only pro-choice is the choice is abortion on demand and government funded. He is an abortion supporter and an abortion industry fan.

Corki I use **Pro Abortion Rights **rather than Pro Choice. You can’t say ā€œPro Abortionā€ no matter how applicable it might be…like saying Pro Death. But they can’t argue with Pro Abortion Rights. Thus the emphasis on the reality ā€œAbortionā€ and what they want ā€œRights.ā€

Obama has encouraged, pushed legislation, voted against any limitations all of which functioned to increase opportunities, access and ability to procure an abortion. To call him Pro Choice is rather laughable because he sure doesn’t want anyone to have a CHOICE on whether to provide abortofascient drugs or sterilizaton or contraception to their employees.

Funny how the demand for choice disappears when one’s ox is being gored.

Actually, it does not matter how many times you say something, it doesn’t necessarily
make it so. This is one of those times.

My post at 6:29 has a non-functional link, and my efforts to correct it or delete it have failed. Sorry.

The title of the opinion I was trying to link to was ā€œThe Assassination of Clint Eastwood by the Coward Mitt Romney.ā€ It is still available on Slate’s site, I just can’t link to it.
