I am going to tell everyone here straight up. If Romney wins the GOP nomination, Obama is going to paint him as everything that is wrong with the GOP. Rich white guys who don’t pay enough in taxes and destroy wealth and jobs. True or not true, that is what he is going to be painted as and it is going to work on the vast swathes of uneducated voters.

If Newt wins, they’ll use all the dirty baggage he has in his history against him, and this dirty baggage is factual, not false accusations.

I just listened on the radio last evening, about how Newt was a staunch critic of Ronald Reagan, when he was in office. I never knew this.

In articles written in a publication which I believe was called “The Strategist,” Newt attacked Reagan’s policies with the Soviet Union and how these policies were making the USSR stronger and the USA weaker. He wrote this just three years before the Soviet Union Collapsed.

Then, he went on to say how he helped Reagan succeed in this, and any accomplishment Reagan in his legacy.

Today, Newt says he’s a Reagan Republican.

It became apparent to me, that Newt is a man that is so full of himself, that he’s quick to criticise, and even faster in taking credit when his opponent succeeded.

I’ve dealt with such people. If they’re not in control, they criticise until the other is shown to succeed. Then they jump on the band wagon and attempt to take credit for that success for themselves.

Well, I live in Massachusetts and voted for Romney.

He was consistently pro-life and pro-marriage of one man and one woman. Even brought a law suit against the State Court for making gay marriage legal.

That being said, he has issues that I didn’t like, one that he didn’t help fellow republicans in the state during their campaigns. As a result, we still have a legislature of 87% democrats.

He also did not help his Lt Governor Kerry Healey run for governor. In fact, at one of Romney’s speeches when the Lt Governor was on the stage with other dignitaries, Romney opened his speeches naming all the dignitaries, except Kerry Healey. Many saw this slight as purposeful, in his idea about women being subjects of men.

Right now, none of the GOP canidates can beat Obama, I have no doubt about it.

Don’t buy it at all.

Romney was very much pro-life as governor of MA.

He also supported Catholic Charities in their opposition of gay adoptions.

You should check their sources if you truly do not believe them, they offer 100 dollars if you can prove them wrong. Their sources are listed I believe.

If Romney gets the nomination, Obama can simply run on policies that Romney supported and call Romney on the flipflops.

If Newt gets it, we have the irony of Obama being in a stable marriage going up against someone that has been in multiple marriages and is anything but stable.

I am still holding out hope for Santorum.
