Request for prayers for my wife

My brothers and sisters in Christ. I ask for your prayers for my wife who is a spinal injury patient who also has RA. She is bed ridden much of the time and is never without pain. The only question is the severity. She offers her pain as a suffering soul, but still needs relief from this.at times of extreme severity. Prayers for strength to endure as well as relief will be greatly appreciated. God Bless you all

Heavenly Father, we praise Your name always as Your children. Please have mercy on Deacon Ed’s wife, and ease your child’s suffering. Father I also ask that You give Deacon Ed strength and courage as he helps his wife in these difficult times. In the name of Your son Jesus I pray with confidence. Amen. :signofcross:
 
Lord Deacon ED B’S WIFE SUFFERS FROM RA a disease that has devastated her lifestyle. Lord TURN THIS INTO GOOD ! LET THIS DISEASE BE BANISHED AND BE OUT OF HER AND BRING HER HEALTH AND LET HER BE HEALED TO DO YOUR WILL LORD . Thank you Lord , in the name of Jesus, amen . your brother in Christ, John

Prayer for healing

Lord, look upon me with eyes of mercy. May your healing Spirit rest upon me. It is through your power that i was created. Since you created me from nothing, you can certainly recreate me. Fill me with the healing power of your spirit. May your lifegiving powers flow into every cell of my body and into the depths of my soul. Mend what is broken. Cast out anything that should not be within me. Rebuild my brokenness. Restore my strength for service in your Kingdom. Touch my soul with Your compassion for others. Touch my heart with Your courage and infinite love for all. Touch my mind with your wisdom, that my mouth may always proclaim Your praise. Teach me to reach out to You in my need, and help me to lead others to You by my example. Most loving Heart of Jesus, bring me health in body and spirit that i may serve You with all my strength. Pray for us o Mary Mother of the Poor.
 
My wife and I both thank you profoundly for your prayers. You will be in ours.

I will be praying for your wife, Deacon. May God bring healing for her very soon…I’m sorry for this situation. It’s inspiring to hear that she is offering up her suffering.

Prayers do work. My wife had been getting worse and worse, and we had to switch doctors. I am glad we did. One ordered X-Rays of the area she had been complaining about and found she had a fractured vertebra in her back at T-11. It had been too long to do a vetrba-plasty but instead the new doctor gave her epidural injections that have done wonders. She is scheduled for more in another week and then another two weeks after that. She was able to go to ash Wednesday services last night for ashes and mass and Communion… All the other doctors did was to look at where she had had a fusion 1 1/2 year ago and say everything is OK

Merciful Lord in Heaven, Your love for us knows no limits. May Deacon Ed’s wife offer all of her suffering up to Christ, and thus gain Heavenly strength to carry on. In Your infinite love, may her pain act as a living Purgatory, serving to sanctify her spirit and reduce any possibility of pain in the next life. Graciously hear her thanks and her praise of Your Holy Name, so that in her suffering, she may be exalted. Blessed One, You have found her worthy of being tested for Your Kingdom. We thank and praise You for Your mercy, for You brought her forth from all eternity as a necessary part of Your salvific plan. Strengthen also Deacon Ed B, as he and his wife are not two, but one flesh, and both suffer for the sake of Christ. May their fervent prayers, combined with those who intercede, rise to Your throne as incense from the altars of this world, that Your ear will incline to hear our pleas. Grant this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen, Alleluia!
