Praying for you…I also sometimes have anxiety for unexplained reasons…I pray that God eases your mind and that you place your cares and concerns on His altar.

It is reassuring to at least know the source of the problem. There are all sorts of pollutants that get into us other than cigarette smoke, for sure. If God has allowed this thorn in the flesh for you then it is certainly for His glory. It is from Him that your breath comes, and to Him it returns. About the anxiety, it has helped me a lot to accept death, and the feeling of suffocation that comes from not getting enough air. If I am constantly yielding my life to Him, then the fear of it being taken from me vanishes. Dust I am, and to dust I shall return.Dear fellow Ellen,
Thank you so much for your inquiry re my COPD. They diagonsed if officially as a mild case of Chronic Pulmonary Lung Disease and I am on the inhaler,Spiriva, once a day. Thank God, I have had very good luck with the medication. It is obviously a chronic illness which does not go away but it is manageable.
It’s interesting because I am not a smoker. I’m only saying that because the doctors seem to indicate that this illness seems to be prevalent mostly in smokers. Of course, for years all of us have been exposed to second hand smoke if we don’t smoke ourselves and other irritatants in our environment.
However, Ellen, I greatly appreciate your follow up. Prayers, blessings and gratitude.
