Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

O Sacred Heart of Jesus,
we place our trust in Thee,
Hear our prayers!

**“I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart,
And I will glorify Your name forevermore.”
Psalms 86:12
Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen. **

Loving God,

We lift our continuing prayers and intentions for the health and well being of our friend odhiambo, and especially for the preservation of her eyesight.

THE PRAYER, LORD JESUS, GIVE ME YOUR PEACE

Give me confidence in the depths of danger.
Give me hope when I am surrounded by fear.
Still my worries,
calm the anxieties pressing in on me from the world I live in.
Reassure me that you are with me when I seem alone.
Ease my doubting, as you did Thomas’.
Guide my searching for peace,
so that I may not seek it where it is not to be found,
but I may seek it in you.
Lord Jesus, live in me and give me your peace.

Amen.

A Chaplet of Divine Mercy prayed for you before our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.

Jesus, I trust in You.

Amen.

Saint Lucy,
Whose beautiful name signifies “light”,
by the light of faith which God bestowed upon you,
increase and preserve His light in **odhiambo’s ** soul
so that he may avoid evil,
be zealous in the performance of good works,
and abhor nothing so much as the blindness and
the darkness of evil and sin.
Obtain for him, by your intercession with God,
perfect vision for his bodily eyes
and the grace to use them for God’s greater honor and glory
and the salvation of souls.
St. Lucy, virgin and martyr,
hear my prayers and obtain my petitions.

Amen.
