I believe there is enough evidence out there to conclude we have been lied to about our earth. My Catholic Bible does depict the early model of a Flat Earth. Do not look at Flat Earth Society, but watch Eric Dubay, and Jake Gibson, or " Flat Earth *********" (sorry, that’s what he goes by).

The earth can be round and flat, like a quarter, or maybe it’s an infinite plane, but research is out there. At a minimum, the world we think we live in, is not what they’ve showed us.

I once looked at Eric Dubay. He has some great videos. He actually has a video with like “200 reasons the world is flat” that is scientifically reasonable.

The problem is, Eric Dubay also is a massive Anti-Zionist (if not actual anti-Semite) and even goes as far as denying the Holocaust happened. Look at some of his other videos and his web site up close. Unfortunately, whatever credibility he has as a flat Earther is (for better or worse) diluted by his Anti-Zionism/Anti-Semitism.

He does make a lot of good points, but unfortunately his other beliefs will cancel out his probable certainty about the Flat Earther.

There are other Flat Earthers that are more “believable” than him on Youtube. And I know the whole subject will be dismissed jocularly. :rolleyes:🤷

You can deal with him if you like it, but if you can mange to overlook his anti-Semitism, maybe he can be of use here. Most would not be able to overlook that.👍:o

What about all those transcontinental airliners and ocean liners? The planes fly from continent to continent, the ships cross the oceans from continent to continent. How do they navigate such journeys without discovering that the Earth is not a globe?

Is the Moon also a flat surface, or is it a globe? If it is flat, how do we not notice this given that it orbits us? If it is a globe then what reason have we to think the Earth is not one also?

The Bible speaks of the four corners of the earth, right? But moderns talk of how it ‘rains cats and dogs’. We do not expect to go outdoors after a rain and find German Shepherds and poodles lying on the ground next to Siamese and tabbies. A phrase may be meaningful without being literal.
 
The moon isn’t a solid object, more like a luminary. Stars close up through telescopes appear like water. Planes do not travel based on any curvature. I could not possibly dig into ALL the evidence,but if you care for these answers, they can be found and very satisfyingly provide evidence. My goal here, is only getting people to research it yourself in its entirety and come to your conclusion after all answers are found.

As for every aspect of Eric Dubay, no I don’t agree with everything,but it’s a great place to start.

People have said it best saying, " the more I know, the more I realize I don’t know".

I clearly cannot convince anyone through this forum through limited text, but I urge everyone with an open mind to consider looking into this. From weird astronaut videos, to fake pictures of Earth from space ,there is a lot to consider.
 
I would wager that researching flat earth theories is increasingly productive, the higher one’s tetrahydrocannabinol blood level.

Yes, as I stated above, Eric Dubay is anti-Semitic, but the linked video does not contain anti-Semitic material. Take of that what you will and ignore the rest. If not, that’s ok.

Personally, I am open to the idea, but not sure of it. 👍👍
 
OP, my husband and I have been watching flat earth videos for a few months now. Seeing as how the government lies and manipulates, I am open to the idea that NASA and others are misleading us. I don’t have it all figured out, but am increasingly sure that things are not as we’ve been told.
 
The ancient Greeks knew the world was round. Honestly, such a proposition as “flat earth” beliefs serve to dissipate any and all sources of knowledge, insight and intelligence here at CAF. The moon isn’t a solid object? Please. It is a strange hysteria that someone in a first-world country in the 21st century would take the position that they Earth is really flat.

Aristotle believed that all Earthy matter was drawn to the center of the Earth, so a sphere was the natural shape. He noticed that during lunar eclipses, the Earth’s shadow was round and he also noticed that when you go North or South a long ways, the stars that you can see change.

When a ship is at the horizon, its lower part is invisible due to Earth’s curvature. This was one of the first arguments favoring a round-Earth model.

Wikipedia tells us that Eratosthenes, a Greek astronomer from Hellenistic Libya (276–194 BC), estimated Earth’s circumference around 240 BC. He had heard that in Syene the Sun was directly overhead at the summer solstice whereas in Alexandria it still cast a shadow. Using the differing angles the shadows made as the basis of his trigonometric calculations he estimated a circumference of around 250,000 stades. The length of a ‘stade’ is not precisely known, but Eratosthenes’s figure only has an error of around five to fifteen percent. Eratosthenes used rough estimates and round numbers, but depending on the length of the stadion, his result is within a margin of between 2% and 20% of the actual meridional circumference, 40,008 kilometres (24,860 mi). Note that Eratosthenes could only measure the circumference of the Earth by assuming that the distance to the Sun is so great that the rays of sunlight are essentially parallel.

That said, the earth is not a perfect sphere. It’s not even a perfect oblate spheroid (bulging at the equator). It’s more pear-shaped (with the bulge slightly south of the equator).

Scientists believe that the earth “sags” like this because of the enormous weight of all those National Geographic magazines that folks have been saving for decades 🙂

Have you never been on a plane and seen the curvature of the horizon? Sailers centuries ago knew of the roundness of the earth by seeing the top of the rigging before seeing the bulk of the ship. And one needs to ask: what would be the possible benefit or advantage of NASA or the government misleading people into thinking the world is round if it is really flat? Why would they do that?

No Globe=No Rotation=No Orbit=No Gravity=Not Heliocentric=Geocentric=No Big Bang Theory=No Darwinism or Evolution=No Missing Link=Not Random=We Are Unique=Center Of Everything=Intelligent Design=God, Gods, or Creator=Awakening Of Mankind=End Of NWO.
