This morning Pope Benedict XVI accepted the resignation of Bishop Joseph Leo Charron, C.Pp.S. as Bishop of Des Moines, Iowa, USA. No replacement was immediately named.
 
He did the only ordination to the priesthood that I have ever seen (so far). He needs prayers.
