The kids would be doing themselves a favor if they quit doing the “party scene”. I say this as someone who attended many a college party but almost entirely avoided all the “party scene” stuff which was mostly drinking and hooking up, with occasional drugs. I thought that stuff was generally boring.
Dancing and hearing bands and joking and talking with people and eating pizza was fun. That’s what I did at most of the parties.
