I assume you have your Phd in Catholic Theology?
I assume you have your Phd in Catholic Theology?
it depends of which priest you go to. i bet you can get different answers. Before you do that, you should verify that your colleagues are *Catholic *priests.
may you can also show them this video.Shall I tell this to my theology students at the seminary? I might have to break it to them gently…

Did I offend you that you would give me such an dismissive reply?Personal friends are good.
this is a great video.Did the Holy Ghost tell you this himself? Why are you going all “Jerry Falwell” on this thread? God doesn’t hear the prayers of other religions??? really…since when?So the JPII prayed with people of different religions…and…so? Pray is the “key” word.
:ehh: uhhhh, no the EF. never uses laity in the Sanctuary…whatever the situation. We’ve had two new priests in our parish this year, both said their first Mass…the Traditional Latin Mass…here. The Church was packed, as was the parking lot. Still, we got by without having the laity in the Sanctuary. Amazing, isn’t it.Like the EXTRAordinary Form!

No. I didn’t realize it was dismissive. I thought you were commenting on having friends.Did I offend you that you would give me such an dismissive reply?
It is. i went to a Latin Mass, it was a small Church but the priest had 4 boys as altar servers. that is amazing. there is no shortage of altar boys in teh Latin Mass as far as i seen.:ehh: uhhhh, no the EF. never uses laity in the Sanctuary…whatever the situation. Like I said earlier, saying things like “Did the Holy Ghost tell you Himself” get you nowhere. It’s really immature. I’m going to start ignoring posts like that.Did the Holy Ghost tell you this himself? Why are you going all “Jerry Falwell” on this thread? God doesn’t hear the prayers of other religions??? really…since when?So the JPII prayed with people of different religions…and…so? Pray is the “key” word.
Yeah, good video!
I looked at your video. Nice news spot …but that is about it.
Nice one liner. St. Paul argued in Athens at the Acropolis at the altar to the unknown god, that the same God they worshipped he was now proclaiming. (Acts 17:22)4.- I’m shocked you don’t think all false religions were created by the Devil. Do you honestly believe that gods such as Buddha exist? You’re a Catholic, you should know! What about this Bible verse? “All gods of the pagans are devils” (Ps.95,5). You can’t argue with true scripture.
As you put it:"You Athenians, I see that in every respect you are very religious.
23 For as I walked around looking carefully at your shrines, I even discovered an altar inscribed, ‘To an Unknown God.’ 7 What therefore you unknowingly worship, I proclaim to you. 24 The God who made the world and all that is in it, the Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in sanctuaries made by human hands, 25 nor is he served by human hands because he needs anything.
You can’t argue with true scripture.
This Voris guy is a simplistic fool.
So, you deny that he is speaking the Truth?I looked at your video. Nice news spot …but that is about it.![]()
yes, he is a fool to the world but to our God he is wise, a soldier, and a defender of the Faith. we need more of him in the Church today. This Voris guy is a simplistic fool.
With all your intelligence, surely you realize I was emphasizing that not all Jewish people and theologians are believers. I was trying to point out that the people to whom you referred as experts in their field are not necessarily making that leap of faith which is beyond the explanation of science that you and I, as believers, are making here.No. I didn’t realize it was dismissive. I thought you were commenting on having friends.
She almost always denies that kind of stuff. I guess she doesn’t get what he’s saying. So, you deny that he is speaking the Truth?
I’m sorry – it was merely a light-hearted response to your insulting insinuation that my Catholic priest and lay academic colleagues might be atheists. Nothing more was intended than my light-hearted reply, and I hold no grudges! With all your intelligence, surely you realize I was emphasizing that not all Jewish people and theologians are believers. I never insinuated that your Catholic priests were atheists. That’s a contradiction in terms. Some of your lay colleagues may be atheist. It’s a statement of fact. Why is that an insult? If they are atheist, they can’t make that leap of faith.I’m sorry – it was merely a light-hearted response to your insulting insinuation that my Catholic priest and lay academic colleagues might be atheists. He is no fool, but he is simplistic. That is why I do not look to YouTube for guidance and truth. He makes a good point, but misses something, as must all video commercials. This Voris guy is a simplistic fool.
