Yes, but it’s been many years…my uncle was an old-school doctor who made housecalls regularly, even on weekends and holidays.

Have you ever had insomnia?

More or less continually since the mid-1970s. 😖

Have you ever voted via absentee ballot? 🗳️

That’s been the norm for me for the last several years…the county board of elections building is open daily two weeks before election day, and any registered voter can vote early [absentee] then…

Have you ever driven more than a few cars before deciding which one to buy?

Only every time I drive—my car has a standard transmission 🙂

Have you ever given a speech or presentation in front of at least 2000 people?

No, but I don’t rule it out in the future.

Have you ever dropped and broken a dish?

Nope… had major surgery a month ago…I’ll have to wait a while…

Have you ever dropped a tree with an ax?

Yes. Living and working on opposite sides of the San Francisco Bay practically guarantees that happening.

Have you ever eaten a bear claw? 🥐

So many times. I do that with 800 numbers all the time. One time, before caller ID, I received a message on my answering machine from a man who was attempting to call his estranged brother and invite him for Easter dinner. The message was long and very heartfelt. But on my machine. I felt terrible because I had no way of reaching him to tell him that.

Have you ever seen a stand up comic?

Yes. His routine was clean and hilarious 😂 (too bad I can’t remember his name)

Have you ever eaten wagyu beef? 🥩 💸

Not that I can recall.

Have you ever grown pumpkins in your backyard?

No. I’ve never had a poinsettia to ice. Mom would have tanned my hide if I went anywhere near hers 😬

Have you ever been in a power outage that lasted longer than 48 hours?

More than once, most recently because The Husband didn’t trust the GPS and told me to take a different exit that what was shown. Thanks, honey 🙂

Have you ever gotten stuck in a revolving door?
