Banned because I had some trouble getting started, but I watched a YouTube tutorial that pointed me in the right direction. I now have my town’s population over 1,000.
 
Wow, zero to 1000 in less than a day!!! Banned for not using rabbits to populate your city
 
Banned because the game simulated several months of population growth. From today out to November or December, if I recall correctly. But big enough to get an elementary school and a small medical clinic.

Banned because last time I checked the date on the sim it was into early 2022.

Can’t give an answer on the pandemic, it’s not a factor in the simulation. Sorry.
