**I realize this question may have already been asked. I did a search.
The Bishop of my Diocese has asked us at our daily Mass to refrain from the “Orans” posture…with a great explaination.
Is this Bishop the exception? Has this always been a part of the GIRM (not to display this posture) and not explained/suggested?
This posture - as fully undersood - has such a profound opportunity for the faithful. Not sure why it is seen as a way to be “welcoming.”**
