Reward Increased to $25,000 for Abortion Crime Information

WICHITA, Kan., Sept. 9, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Operation Rescue has announced that it is raising the reward offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of abortionists who are breaking the law from $10,000 to $25,000 effective immediately.

In January, 2010, the pro-life group launched the Abortion Whistleblowers Program to encourage those with knowledge of abortion-related crimes to come forward. The program includes a multi-faceted ad campaign using radio, newspaper, Internet, direct mail, and social networking sites.

“We are grateful that an anonymous supporter has come forward to underwrite the $25,000 reward amount and believe that this will be a key in helping abortion whistleblowers come forward with their first-hand knowledge and documentation of criminal activity,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman.

"Those with knowledge of abortion abuses sometimes fear coming forward because of the possibility of lost income and disruption to their lives. The $25,000 reward could help clinic workers start a new life - one that isn’t stained by innocent blood or criminal activity or the stress that accompanies working in the abortion industry. That is a strong incentive for coming forward

What a constructive and positive way to defend the unborn.

Good idea, but unfortunately won’t do much. Because of zany medical laws, even with evidence, one has to choose to prosecute, and that one is often literally only one person.

Before Tiller was killed, documents came out that pretty much proved he was paying off the “neutral” second opinion doctor to just agree with everything he said. But he never got in trouble for it. Why? Because by law there was exactly one politician in Kansas who actually had the authority to prosecute him, and she refused to do so. (very active pro-choicer). Someone else actually tried and got laughed out of the courts because he didn’t have the authority.

So even if someone comes forward with proof, don’t expect any clinics to get investigated, let alone shut down.
