I think that shows, what happens sometimes when you fall away from the teachings of Christ. You turn your back on Christ knowingly, you turn your back on your Brethren and God’s law.

The guilt for our sins is only half the story, we also have the joys of grace, redemption, and sanctification.

Non theists have joys of seeing real things in the real world. They see their children grow up to be wonderful people, to go on to be doctors, lawyers, teachers and bums just like theists children do. They bleed when cut, just as theists do. Their children get cancer at the same rate as thiests children do.

Greed and selfishness?
How do the Catholic priests and their parish community get through it when the pastor steals tons of their money to blow on luxuries? Maybe the same way a non theist deals with their child or relative that smashed up the family car, stole from mommy’s purse or whatever other situation you or I can come up with.

Greed and selfishness is not a condition that disciriminates against any protected or unprotected tribe or group or cabal of heathens.
 
The other lung was infected? Or healthy?
Is this a way to pass the buck?

The Orthodox are believers in every sense of the word.
