The two articles I quoted support the substance of what she said, if not the style.
Please explain. How did they support the substance, that Global warming will clog the oceans with algae?

The most you can say is man is somehow increasing the frequency of coastal algae blooms.
Our farming methods, not energy source, is the most likely culprit from what you shared.
Thus, threatening ocean wide algae blooms from increased CO2 is false alarmism.

If you are judging by the current intensity of algae blooms, consider that with further rises in CO2, this component of the cause will only increase. Although the NOAA article talks about farming and other causes, that article emphasizes freshwater blooms, which are disproportionately affected by farming and water pollution. But the second article talks all about CO2.
