Is there a rite of passage for a man turning of age at 50? (Prayers or something that must be done during the morning hours of the new birthday)?

I’ll be 50 on Wednesday May 14th
 
Happy Birthday! 🍰 I don’t know of any prayers for turning 50, though. Is it a guy thing? 🤷
 
Wish him Happy Birthday. Don’t emphasize the 50 years part.

Nothing that I know of. Happy Birthday! I get to be 60 next month.

Yeah - with the “silver rocket” they give you goofy juice. However, with the prostate biopsy, they inject a topical anesthetic, and then part way through they inform you that the topical doesn’t really act throughout the area. 😊

Hey, we’re almost twins! My birthday’s on May 13, and I just turned 50! Happy mutual birthday! 🍰

I’m not sure about birthday prayers.

May is the month of Mary. The rosary is always a good one, any time, but especially during May.
 
Make your own rite of passage. Go hiking, or something special you’ve always wanted to do.

Happy birthday!

Can’t really suggest anything other than eating half a century egg :),
but in our home we celebrate every birthday by assisting at Holy Mass as a thanksgiving
and being properly disposed to receive the Greatest Gift of His Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity!

And if you are feeling a bit depressed at getting older, just remind yourself that when you reach 60. you’ll back on being 50 and marvel how young you were then.
Then act on it now.
Seize the day!
 
Don’t go looking for a “Rite of Passage”. It’ll find you soon enough. Just another birthday. I just turned 74.

It’s nearly my birthday… And I’ll be turning 60 , just need to find my birth certificate ,
And a calculator , 2014 - 1954 = 60. , darn imported calculators their never right ,
