Sadly the progressive dominance at CCHD seems to continue unabated. I stopped giving when Reform CCHD Now made these abuses known. I would suggest a thread title change or even a new thread along the eye-catching lines of “CCHD abuses of Catholic money continue” Just a thought.

Other suspect Catholic-derived monies disbursed, not in the millions, but by the billions, consists of the cash paid to victims of clerical sexual abuse estimated to be in the three billion dollar range over the last decade or two. Had there been oversight as to these tragically gag-order-contingent funds, i.e., hush money to buy silence, the avalanche of misery might have been avoided as trends would have been exposed to the light of day. Again, Jesus Christ warned us of wolves in sheep’s clothing. One may note the USCCB’s lay oversight committee consisted of such men as two pro-abortion Clinton-era Democrats.
