Rocket needs prayers

Loving God,

We lift our prayers in support of our friend Rocket who has consistently provided loving prayers for your people in times of worry, need, and trial. Please heal our friend Rocket and send competent and compassionate doctors and medical staff into his life to provide the grace of your healing touch to his situation. Please grant Rocket great courage, strong faith, and complete trust in your divine providence as he faces the upcoming surgery and the recovery process. Please comfort our friend and his family members, and help them to grow closer to each other and to you, O Lord, through this challenge in his life. Lord, we know you love Rocket and will guide him through this time.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, empowered by your Holy Spirit, who live and reign with you, one God for ever and ever.

Lord, we ask that you look after our friend Rocket, who prays faithfully for so many others. Guide the hands and minds of the doctors performing his surgery that all will go as it should. And then, we ask for a speedy recovery too. I ask this through the intercession of Your Most Holy Mother, Mary.

Rocket I’ll pray very fervently that you will feel peace and trust as you face this serious surgery, and that our good God will guide your surgeon and all who are responsible for your recovery. I’m sorry for the pain you surely feel, and hope and pray you will be physically renewed as you recover.

I thank you all my good friends for your prayers. Tomorrow’s the big day. If all goes well I should be in the hospital for four days and hopefully will be back on CAF with a good report by Sunday.
