ZENIT - Rome’s Exorcist Gives Inside Look at Devil

Fr. Amorth is always interesting in his interviews. Read all the way to the end to see what the devil hates about the Blessed Mother. Maybe those who think she’s not important will see this and rethink their positions. I would not argue with the chief exorcist of Rome!

Excellent…so are the link articles on that page. A lot to be learned (or maybe confirmed) in those articles.

Thanks for the info.

I think mother mary needs to turn the tables on the devil and tempt him to come back to our side 😃

Yea I know it isn’t possible.

It sounds like the devil is Mary’s polar opposite, not Jesus…which makes sense, because they are part of Creation.

Why should I care what the devil thinks about ANYTHING?

The devil’s opinions interest me not at all.

"The exorcist confirmed that Satan’s greatest foe is the Virgin Mary." Wouldn’t you want to know about her power to help you? The devil’s hatred of her shows how powerful the Blessed Mother is against evil. I am very happy that I am consecrated to her and have received SO much from her! No, I don’t care what the devil thinks, but I’m glad to know how great a place the Blessed Mother has in our battle.

Father Corapi is very big on knowing the ways of the enemy. I think it is too. I think I understand what you mean that who cares about the devil, you must follow God, but I think we must know the devil to know how to arm ourselves.

This should say that Mary is the devil’s polar opposite, not Jesus. But I know what you ment. Jesus is the creator, rather then the created, but Mary and the devil are both the created.

I am actually reading Fr. Amorth’s second book…“An Exorcist: More Stories” This and the first have changed my life. I think everyone should be aware about the true Spiritual Battle that is going on. I thought the article was good and I am always glad when Fr. Amorth gets some press. What he has to say and what he has experienced is crucial and we must arm ourselves!

God Bless!!

Anyone who is interested in exorcists and stories might also be interested in listening to Rev. Jose Antonio Fortea (author of Interview with an Exorcist) talk to seminarians about exorcism. MP3 files here (the last 3 files). He may be a little hard to understand but quite an interesting and humble man.

Great references all. Very interesting. I believe we are in a great spiritual battle and knowledge is a great weapon…thanks

Amen Amen Amen. You hit it right on the head. We don’t need to overly dwell on it, but we should always be aware and remember that the adversary and his demons prowl around constantly looking for the slightest opening to attack. Daily we should remember, say a prayer for protection, and strive for holiness, yes?? Thank you God for the Sacraments and sacramentals…

St. Michael, protect us!!

Peace

👍 Indeed! Can you imagine that some priests say they don’t believe in the devil, hell, etc.
