Is there any evidence that Ron Paul was aware who this man was, and what sort of organisation he represented? If there isn’t, then surely it’s irrelevant.

And why must we be the policemen of the world? Should we not deal with our internal affairs, of which there are many .As a country, why do we feel we must meddle in the affairs of othe countries? I think this is Ron Paul’s point.
 
I would vote for Ron Paul in a general election, but don’t have the least bit of support for him at a caucus/primary. The reason being his stance on gay marriage and just being a bit wrong of the choice and freedom of our own bodies (he emphasized this when I saw him). He is my 2nd choice because of how he wants to change the system, and emphasizes the constitution with a record to show for it. On issues, he’s far from 2nd in my book, but he would mess up a lot of liberals agenda in Washington and cut down on corruption. Though, I am in strong opinion that if he was elected he would not see a day in the White House before he was murdered. My vote is for Rick Santorum and has been since early October, but I would support Ron Paul as well.

You should be more concerned that he peaks their interest at all, particularly enough to advocate for him on that site which means there is some form of strong agreement on positions.

Well, that is part of the communist party goal, world domination. International Socialism, which is why we should be very wary of the Chinese. Stalin was a very dedicated Marxist.

When push comes to shove, liberal/left types will vote for Obama. Obamacare, abortion rights, gay rights, entitlements, protecting America from horror of oil pipelines, withdrawal from Iraq, etc. will be their issues. I don’t think drone strikes will be the issue upon which the election hinges. The Democracy Now! types may complain, but they will come home to daddy at election time.

Ron Paul would siphon the all important stoner vote away from Obama. Look out, Obama - when the stoners put their bongs down and get organized and vote, it will be curtains for you.
 
Quite telling that Ron Paul’s biggest contributors are in the armed forces. And aren’t the neo-conservatives Ron Paul’s biggest detractors? Seems like the old rich guys like to send the young guys to war too much.

Actually, it’s progressives and “Hope and Changers” who are having the most difficulty with Obama in my neck of the woods. My mother, who is not a stoner but voted for Obama in part because she opposed Bush’s foreign and domestic policies, is voting for Ron Paul in the primaries and general election if he makes it that far.
