Well I am willing to vote if there is a truly acceptable candidate who has a chance of winning. There has not been one in my lifetime. By the way are you a father? If so do you tell your kids their opinion about politics is worthless since they cant vote?

.
I believe children should be told that once they reach voting age, that they should vote, and that if they do not, their views become meaningless. If one is not willing to participate, than their views become meaningless.

Not according to the polls. Romney and Paul are about evenly matched and ahead of the pack in terms of their ability to do well against Obama. Paul has greater populist appeal than Romney though.
Last night was Ron Pauls last Hurrah. He did well in two small states with heavy conservative leanings. He will not be a factor in any of the remaining states that hold votes although he should do well in the few remaining states that hold caucases instead of votes.

Ron Paul’s last hurrah might be a third party run.

ron paul is only person that can save the nation…
we should all write him in to win
but he cant win cause i dont think he would get minority votes…

but he is only person that can save the country

So Romney winning those states and Santorum coming in 2nd in Iowa means something. But Ron Paul placing very well in both, specifically a good 2nd in NH, means nothing?

Ron Paul will do better than any other candidate than Romney simply because the other candidates cant even run a proper campaign and get on the ballot in many states.

No. WE THE PEOPLE are the only ones who can save this country. But only when se STOP putting charlatans in office and start electing people that say what they are going to do and do what they say. Too often than not, we elect people who tell us what we want to hear, and then when they get in office, they do the opposite, or do nothing but come up with excuses. I’m tired of it. I thought alot more were too, but it appears that most people would rather elect a used car salesman that a real person of constitutional integrity.

The trouble with understanding the rating on this thread is that we don’t know if a high rating is favor of Ron Paul or if it is in favor of the Poll results on this thread.

I never pay attention to the ratings. They are “votes,” and I don’t think many people vote. I just changed the Romney thread from 1 star to 3 by voting “excellent,” and I changed this thread from 4 to 3 by voting “terrible.” 🙂

You guys crack me up. Even if Ron Paul is nominated (he won’t be) AND defeats Obama (he wouldn’t), he would not “save” us. Sheesh. And, you wonder why people view his following as cult-like? 😛

lol :). Who really knows what basis each “voter” uses to determine their rating
  1. like or don’t like the topic (in this case candidate)
  2. like or don’t like the poll results or the poll in general
  3. like or don’t like the discussion (in this case a low rating could mean that you like the candidate but you don’t like the way the discussion is progressing.
    🤷

Hey, while you’re in the business of prognosticating, can you give me tonight’s winning lottery numbers for Powerball?
