I’m looking into buying a Rosary so I can learn how to pray the Rosary. Does anyone have any links to websites that sell them? It would be greatly appreciated. 🙂
 
These are some wonderful sites! You will find everything you need there. You can also usually pick up a free Rosaries at some Catholic Churches. I know at two of the onces here in my town have them near the entrance on a table. There not medal or anything fancy but they are really beautiful. 🙂
 
Funny I was just looking for the same thing. These are simple rosary’s but on the site is an instruction sheet on how to pray.

There is no perfect way to pray the Rosary…at least not a way perfected by man. I have fleeting thoughts intrude as I pray it, and I just include a prayer intention derived from the thoughts, and continue. Obsession with whether I am praying the Rosary perfectly, or for that matter any obsession seems to be something that would block the intercession of the Holy Spirit.
 
One of my sisters in my family had some of the flowers from my father’s funeral made into rosary beads. Like this company does. The same was done after my mother’s funeral. It has become a small tradition now as we have lost more and more members of the family.

It is a wonderful concept since saying the rosary as a family on Friday nights was a norm our father setup in our house (up until the 1970s as I recall). This inspiration of having flowers made into rosary beads lead some family members to praying the rosary again. A unique blessing.

If there is a Catholic Religious store in your area they would have a beautiful selection. Look in your phone book. www.ewtn.com has a religious goods sales dept. too. God Bless, Memaw
 
I would highly recommend just going to a local Catholic parish. Many times they are hand made (with love) and they are blessed, and they are free (donation acceptable). Any rosary that you buy will not be blessed.

I would also recommend getting a scriptural rosary booklet to help in praying the rosary. Easily purchasable at any catholic bookstore or online.
 
The Sisters of Carmel in Colorado make lovely rosaries, all by hand. They have several videos and photos of how they do this. They are a traditional order of sisters. I have one of their handmade rosaries and it will be a treasured family heirloom.

They also make lovely chaplets, bracelets and scapulars.
 
Some times you can get them from a Parish,because I belong to a church were they make them their and give them out,when someone callls the church and ask for one or more, another church I go too has a basket in the rear of the church,for people to help themselp too Rosarys,or a Catholice Store you can get them.

There are some great apps that can help you learn it, as well, if that’s your inclination. I’ve only ever really prayed the rosary on a real physical rosary but I’m sure the apps could help make learning easier.
