There are many different kinds of devotions using beads… I don’t think you can say ‘they have a different C of E one’.
I know that when I was Anglican, the one I used was just like the Roman one, and the booklet I used was bought from a High C of E porch bookstall.
 
Did you say the Marian prayers or did you just say Our Fathers and doxology-type prayers?

To most RC’s, a “rosary” is something involving Mary and a lot of Hail Marys and prayers to Mary. It’s not just some “devotion using beads”.
 
Assuming that is to me, yes, it was the full ten Hail Marys.

The comment about different devotions was in reply to post 9, which surmised that a C of E rosary was different because something being sold as a rosary only had 4 groups of 7 beads.
 
That’s nice to know that some C of E say the traditional rosary. As I posted above, I have read that some high church Anglicans and Anglo-Catholics do say it.
I think the rosary companies may be at fault for the other person’s perception because a number of them sell so-called “Anglican Rosaries” that are prayer bead or worry bead chaplets, but not arranged in the form of a conventional rosary, and they are not designed for saying conventional RC rosary prayers.

Thanks. That’s what I wanted to know and the website didn’t really say that, or more likely i just wasn’t able to navigate it well enough to find the date. I did see a group from London is coming down to Brighton and meeting just opposite the West Pier. I don’t know if any Brighton and Hove Parishes are gathering together but should imagine so. I’ll mention it at ours though many at our parish are older so might not manage it at the location, however, you can hear the seagulls from inside the church so that counts lol. It’s a great idea and I am sure people will join in wherever they are.
 
I apologize. I was misinformed. My friends fiancé is Anglican and that is what she uses. She does not approve of Marian Devotion. I wrongly assumed that that was all Anglicans. Thanks for correcting my misconception. 😁
 
I didn’t know there were differences in Anglicanism. What is High Church Anglicans?
 
I’d suggest asking an Anglican (there are several on here) or reading one of the past threads about Anglicans or Episcopalians. From my viewpoint, the High Church ones just try to be Catholics, but aren’t. However, I’ll admit that I have bias and tend to see all Anglicans pretty much the same, which they don’t see themselves as being.
