Ok, strange question here: So I am new Catholic and have a non Catholic friend who went to Italy/Vatican and bought some rosaries that were blessed. When I told her I converted she gave me one and I haven’t used it until a few days ago. When I opened it, it smelled like rose perfume. I know I wasn’t imagining this at all and there is no way it was my friend’s perfume.
My question is, is it common for rosaries to be scented? The other ones I have received don’t smell so I was surprised this one did.
