Many thanks for sharing the link to the video. God bless you, too.

Steve Paikin always does a good job. The panel discussion was probably the best I’ve seen…the only problem was that none of the panelists mentioned the elephant in the room – homosexual abuse.

The Elephant in the room is getting noticed even by the easily led mouthbreathers.
Not necessarily by Paikin do you think he wants to be inundated with condemnatory letters or to be labeled (eek) a homophobe.Look who he works for TVO(TV ONTARIO for our American cousins)a tv station to the left of Marx himself.Taken seriously ONLY by the Usual Suspects. .
The Truth will out;be prepared for the backlash by the sacred cow protectors-the media, and homosexual pressure and lobby groups. It’s going to be even WORSE than it is now. There are professed Catholics on this board who INSIST on calling it pedophilia when 80% of victims are pubescent boys and young men.It is predatory homosexual hebephilia, practised by a MINORITY of homosexuals, but they are afraid of being tarred(quite understandably in my estimation)with the ephebophilia brush.

ANYONE who insists that this is common pedophilia, has an agenda,is wilfully blind,or are apologists for a minority of homosexual criminal deviants and should examine their consciences and conciousness then give their head a vigourous shake.

I usually watch his show for his guests. He often has real catholics in his round table discussions like fr. Raymond, Michael Coren, to name only a few. He doesn’t really care if they are liberal or conservative, so long as he gets a good debate. Last week’s shows on Euthenasia were interesting. He has had some very interesting shows on invitro. The catholic position is often represented.

Although I will admit that it is mostly for the liberal canadian audience. But if the truth is allowed free time, then why not?

His shows are thought provoking but it is CURIOUS that deviant homosexuality amongst a small percentage of clergy was not even mentioned and that had to be deliberate as it is the elephant in the room that liberals within and without the Church pretend doesn’t exist.I would prefer to watch Coren over Paikin any day as he is not merely interested in a good debate but is a Truth-seeker.

It just goes to show that for the majority of the country, questioning the goodness of same sex attraction is taboo. I remember one show where Coren was a guest on the Agenda, where Coren said something critical of homosexuals, and they both laughed away the comment. Paikin said, “I’m not going to go there…” and Coren responded, “No, I didn’t think you would.” Arguably it was because the subject was off topic, but in reality, it’s a liberal heresy to criticise same sex attraction.

Still, I know that some people on his show believe these things. So at least they get time to speak to a liberal audience. That audience includes most of my own family, who do whatch the show on a regular basis. So at least I can discuss Catholic issues in a thoughful way with them, without sounding like a fanatic.

Although part of me wonders if we need a more “In your face” kind of evangelization, especially on these social issues. Kind of a Catholic version of Ann Coulter… 🙂 He or she would probably be burned at the stake. 🙂

Did you see Coren’s interview of Ann Coulter? Funny. She was making fun of his accent, and he was making comments, “Although I agree with you, did you really have to say it that way!” 🙂

I missed that one show of all shows.I love them both because they are articulate ,intelligent and can swiftly dispatch any liberal-leftist opponent effortlessly with logic and evidential arguementation which enrages the left which warms the cockles of my heart. Why is it that all the intelligent people in the media are conservative. And please no one reference Mr. Tea Bag.
