In Jesus’ name, Father, please answer our prayers for Peggy

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is love and mercy itself.

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Thank you so much for your continuing prayers. My appetite has gone, and taste is off, but that was to be expected. I’d hoped it was going to be better this time. But the nausea is still minimal, so God is very good.

Thank you all again. My appetite has come back somewhat. I believe this is due to prayer. I ask continued prayer as the pain is bad this time and getting worse. I’m praying it’s the drugs and nothing ‘new’.

Lord, You invite all who are burdened to come to you.
Allow Your healing Hand to heal Peggy.
Touch her soul with Your compassion for others;
touch her heart with Your courage
and infinite Love for all;
touch her mind with Your Wisdom,
and may her mouth always proclaim Your praise.
Teach her to reach out to You in all her needs,
and help her to lead others to You by my example.

Most loving Heart of Jesus,
bring her health in body and spirit
that she may serve You with her strength.
Touch gently this life which you have created,
now and forever.

…whatever happens

I think of you often and remember you in my prayers too. Yesterday during Holy Communion I said a prayer for you and Po18guy and for all who need special prayers (like Judi, Diane and her family) and for all on this forum and their loved ones. I especially thought of little McKenna, the little one who was
burned on her little hands and for her family. I don’t post often about praying but I do even when not posting. I won’t forget you Baptista.

I found this prayer of St. Faustina
Jesus may Your pure and healthy blood circulate in my ailing organism, and may Your pure and healthy body transform my weak unhealthy body, and may a healthy and vigorous life flow within me, if it is truly Your holy will. Amen
 
Gracious, loving and timeless Lord, we beseech you to grant Heavenly fortitude to Baptista during this most challenging stage of her life. Thus emboldened by the gifts of the Holy Spirit, may she bear up in faith to all that she is presented with during the course of her treatment. May her doctor use all available knowledge and aggressive action with medication to prevent the debilitating side-effects of the treatment, prescribing proactively for her protection. May the treatments be carefully tailored to her exact condition, avoiding all unnecessary use of the toxic procedures. May her appetite increase and her taste for food and drink be restored, so that her body receives the nutrition that it so critically needs at this time. Again Lord, we call upon You, our Creator God, to protect and strengthen her, comforting her with Your presence, sustaining her with Your mercy and nourishing her with Your Son in the Holy Eucharist. Mercifully combine our prayers with those of the Angels and Saints to bring about a perfection of faith, and a healing of body in our sister in Christ. This we ask through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Aleluia!

I again thank every one of you for your prayers. You touch my heart and give this weak body strength of spirit. Jesus bless every one here and answer the prayers for all their intentions. Amen.
