There are a couple of polls showing Jones in the lead, and reading fivethirtyeight’s view, they think a writein is a long shot, though that really is, for the Republicans overall, the best possibility.
 
I believe the women. I do not believe Roy Moore. I hope and pray the people of Alabama have the good sense not to elect such a person to the Senate.
 
A poll posted by FoxNews is showing a 50 to 42 lead by Doug Jones.

But polls are just mild indicators. It could actually be the opposite.

I’ll just wait till late night on Dec 12th.

Bowie dated em as young as 13
Jimmy Page was also known for doing teens

Don Henley at least got fined $2k for what he did with teens

Jerry Lee Lewis - many a 13 & 14 yr old
 
Does being creepy make him unfit for office? I think so if it also makes him unfit for public trust.

The experts in handwriting analysis, such as they are, all say there is not enough information to prove or disprove authenticity. So you will have to try some other argument to discredit this witness.

Fivethirtyeight had a pretty good article on why handwriting analysis is pretty much a pseudoscience anyways.

I don’t think anyone outside of Alabama had an inkling a month or two ago that the man was a sexual predator, though it does appear it was common knowledge in his old stomping ground.

But hey, I get it, he’s your guy, so he can’t be guilty. I’m sure you gave Bill Clinton the same benefit of the doubt, right?

Near as I can tell, the accusations date back 40 years.

And they have not been substantiated.

He has been happily married for many years and has four children.

But are you saying that he is presently a sexual predator?

Let the voters in Alabama decide.Even assuming that these allegations bear out,why should that disqualify Roy Moore from holding a senate position? Teddy Kennedy left Mary Jo Kpeckne to die ,didn’t seem to impact his political career.
Having said that,Roy Moore has led a decent life for many years. His conservative record should have more bearing on his suitability than what may or may not have occurred over forty years ago.
