That was pretty funny.

Kudos to @dvdjs for that as well!

Scandal, right. I’m going to reward the Republican Party for their making abortion legal nationally, reinforcing it with Casey, and then using it to win elections. High moral ground? My foot.

By doing what? Supporting a party that is pro-abortion, anti-life, anti-marriage, anti-family and at odds with most every core value of the Church?
High moral ground? My foot.
Indeed…

They’re only one of those things, and their policies reduce abortions. So yes, if you oppose abortion the Democratic Party is a good option.

Can you cite where the Pope and/or the bishops are in agreement with you on “most every core value of the Church”? Or do you speak for all Catholics?

Really? You need a citation to note that being pro-life and pro-family are core Catholic values after being on here all this time?

Catholicism is not relative.

😂🤣

Let’s reduce abortion by keeping abortion legal and voting for politicians who fund it.

Your response is just an excuse to keep voting for an anti-Catholic party.

Speaking of funding abortions, check out what Governor Rauner just did that not even Washington Democrats are doing.

I guess I’ll have to sit out the next vote as I did all the previous ones. Can’t trust those guys who run as pro-life.

Really, you are not saying that, are you? You are saying Catholics must vote pro-life. So, you are making up Catholic teaching.

That’s kind of a loony website, don’t you think?

And it doesn’t cite any charges. Just rumors that barely rise to the level of allegations.

I’m not defending Bill Clinton – he’s hardly relevant to the discussion at hand – but we ought to at least try to maintain some standards here.

Worse, there is no accounting for time-line.
No one voted for Bill Clinton, after Broaddrick accused him of rape.
NO ONE.

I wish that people could get the simple facts straight.

I heard about that. That’s why you vote party over principle. Rauner ran on a pro-choice platform and it sounds he had an ad blasting all over Chicagoland he was pro-choice.

I wouldn’t vote for him, you can be assured of that!

True, but then again how many people when asked in a poll after all of that sex stuff came out said they approved of him as president nonetheless?

Fair question, but complicated. Broadrrick’s charge came after tears of proclaiming otherwise. Including an affadavit. The allegations against Moore are far less impeachable.

All this just so Republicans can keep their seat and pass their ridiculous tax bill which is projected to increase taxes on the lower incomes. God help us.

Yes, that’s what I’ve heard over and over lately… doesn’t matter who we are speaking about but in SOME cases allegations are allegations and sometimes they are guilt.

Bill Clinton did or didn’t do whatever was alleged against him, way back then. To endlessly bring it up here is merely to attempt to deflect the conversation from a discussion of what Roy Moore did. And to post a link to a crackpot website is a desperate attempt to deflect.

If you want to make a case for the election of Moore, do it, that’s fine with me. But Bill Clinton has nothing to do with it. If Clinton did everything he was accused of, that still doesn’t give Moore a pass.

I have no horse in this race. I don’t live in Alabama, and I can’t vote for Roy Moore or anyone else in that race. But, as I said above, I think it’s important to maintain some standards.
