Does the Sabbatine Privilege bind under sin? If you didnt in my case pray the rosary each day?
To someone committed to such a devotion, it is not a trivial thing, it is a commitment to Our Lady. And there is a difference between a sense of failure and a sense of disappointment and concern. To feel that a failure in such trivial things is actually a sin is not indicative of a balanced spirituality.
Second, when you wear the Brown Scapular, under the current Scapular catechesis you are expected to engage in some form of Carmelite spirituality, which could take the form of saying the Rosary regularly, practicing other Marian devotions regularly, going to Mass and Holy Communion frequently, regularly praying part of the Liturgy of the Hours, and/or practicing the devotions of charity, chastity and obedience to God’s will. (All this is discussed in the catechesis I linked.)What is the official status of the Sabbatine Privilege?
Historical research has shown that the alleged fourteenth-century appearance of the Blessed Mother to Pope John XXII is without historical foundation. As a matter of fact, in the year 1613 the Holy See determined that the decree establishing the"Sabbatine Privilege" was unfounded and the Church admonished the Carmelite Order not to preach this doctrine. Unfortunately, the Order did not always comply with this directive of the Holy See.
