I wear the plastic Rosary I picked up the day I walked back
Into a Church, and unbeknown to me at the time, through the Doors of Mercy.

I wear a couple of brown scapulars, one Blessed by my Bishop, one a present from a Legion
Of Mary. I added my favourite ArchAngel’s medal, St Michael, and a little Miraculous Medal.

I try to gain Plenary Indulgences for those In Purgatory. Its a work anyone can do, rich or penniless. Able or disabled.

Does it help? I have faith it does. 🙏
 
This seems like a silly question, but for those who carry around multiple sacramentals: how do you do it? My pockets are already overly full with a wallet, phone, and car keys.

I’ve bought several different medals but I gave up on wearing them. I’m too active/bouncy/athletic to wear them and so I tend to run into problems, such as them flying around uncomfortably. I like to sleep with them but I wake up with the necklace half choking me or the crucifix/medal slung awkwardly around my back when I turn in my sleep. Even if I keep a small medal in my pocket, such as a little relic I have of Our Lady of Garabandal, it gets left behind in the pocket and then in the washer, which aside from temporary losing it, spinning around in a washing machine at 100 miles per hour isn’t exactly where a relic kissed by the Virgin Mary is intended to be, not that I think she minds too much. She’s patient with me and I need it that way.

A tattoo used as a sacramental is about the only thing that couldn’t get away from me. I’m not scrupulous over that sort of thing, but nevertheless I’m not attracted to that look.

The scapular is impossible. The back half always manages to find its way against my neck or slung awkwardly to the side.
 
I carry a St. Benedict cross that I had blessed at the abbey near my home.

I used to find the scapular irritating as well, but after just making myself wear it for a while, I don’t notice it anymore. Sometimes it still gets stuck in an uncomfortable position or something, but it doesn’t really bother me.

I find it pretty easy to tack on any medals that I want to the scapular cord.

As for a rosary - I don’t carry it all the time, but when I do, I carry it in the same pocket as the phone. Wallet goes in the other pocket with a handkerchief, and keys latch on to the belt.
 
I almost always have a rosary with me (I carry it in my computer bad) and I used to have a blessed St Benedict metal that I always kept in my pocket, but I lost it.

Remarkable how an article can babble on for so long and yet say so little.

Very little there is actually said about the book “Meditations on the Tarot”, and the article, taking one lengthy tangent after another, finally, painfully, says “In Conclusion”… then concludes seemingly nothing at all in relation to the book or to New Age in general.

It would be very nice if the article would at least tell us what the book is about.

Would you like to elaborate on the point you were trying to make by posting that link?
 
I have a tiny vial of holy water and a couple rosaries that are always in my purse.
 
I wear the Brown Scapular and although I don’t carry Holy Water around, I do have it and use in my house. I also have several Rosaries and one is always in my car so in addition to praying the Rosary every day, I do pray the Rosary when in my car if I am going to be driving for more than 30 minutes.

You may just want to get one of those “pocket” coins and get it blessed…like a St. Benedict one, or, one of Our Lady. That way it’s just another coin in your pocket and on your dresser at night

Yeah, just get a really well made one. The cheap ones from religious catalogs are really flimsy. Those places that do engraving have nice ones that will stand up to a lot of use.
 
I used to wear the Brown Scapular until it broke, I found it rather challenging to wear. I sometimes wear a Crucifix or a St Benedict Medal but in both cases only really to church and then only if I remember. My most important sacramentals are a pocket sized Bible and prayer book that I keep in my backpack and take everywhere with me.

Irishmom Number 2, you just changed my life. It was so obvious.

Seriously though, I end up jumping/running on pretty much a daily basis and also frequent the gym, and my necklaces simply don’t stay put. Vin Diesel makes it look so easy, but it doesn’t work like that in real life. Keeping a sacramental on my keys is a great idea.
 
I wear a brown scapular and a Sacred Heart medal. I also carry a rosary and a small vial of blessed salt in my purse.
 
None. Just see not the need. My faith is in my heart and body, my soul and being. I know others feel differently and that is absolutely fine. I have made and given so many one decade olive wood rosaries for folk who think other than me.
I love doing that.

Just not for me is all.

And here in rural Ireland you cannot go far without seeing a Church etc.
 
I wear a blessed St. Benedict medal and I always have a one decade Rosary in the pocket of my outerwear and a five decade- in my bag as a reminder to pray.
 
I wear the scapular of Our Lady of Mt Carmel, and have been wearing one since being becoming a Secular Order Discalced Carmelite OCDS.

In fact, I just got two new one’s in the mail today. The one I was wearing was about to fall apart.

I always wear the scapular made with a chain. It last longer, but also doesn’t ride up around my throat like the string version does.
