I believe I can address two subjects with one title! Please replay
- I have not been able to get over the amount of talking going on in my Church before and after Mass. I am often to the point of wanting to correct people and say “Excuse but do you realize where you are?” Then I note to myself that many are daily Mass goers and people who serve in church (ushers etc.). Maybe they feel so comfortable that they have lost their sense of awe. Is that OK? It is so bad that I was once in confession and the priest interrupted me to go out to tell people to be quiet that confession was going on! He has done so much, even having taped music played before Mass. Does anyone else suffer from this? I feel like it is pride on my part.
- Does the Church still require that we be buried in blessed areas of a cemetery? My inlaws gave my husband and me two plots that are not in a “catholic” blessed area. Any time I bring this up people look at me like I am crazy and I am embarrassed to ask anymore.
