No, that is perhaps what threw you off before.Yes, but by the broadness of your definition of doctrine, it is not possible to be a human being without some doctrine.
Because one can be human by simply doing all the wrong things in life. One can just murder others, and do every evil possible in the world. They will be “alive” and “human” but they might not have any doctrine that what they do is wrong or what is the right thing to do.
So it is certainly possible to exist without doctrine, even under what you suggest is a very broad definition of mine.
