Saddened by a website

Don’t plan on being there…None of the original apostles talked about such a place…Best to know them here…It’s what the Holy Spirit uses to maure us and conform us to His will in the where and now…

I will have to check out the “Death Cookie” tract. I’m sorry but he is just so funny that it is sad. No, I take that back. I’m not sorry at all.

I don’t know what my favorite is called, but it’s about the evil Catholics who leer and laugh about what “they” are going to put into the Bible. “Should we put that in?” “Yeah, why not? Bwahahaha…they’ll believe anything - sure, put it in!!” I am paraphrasing here because I haven’t seen that tract for awhile.

BTW somewhere (youtube?) there is a takeoff of Mystery Science Theatre with a Jack Chick tract as the “movie” they are forced to watch. It is hilarious. Someone printed it and sent it to me.

I have to assume that the fifteen year old poster is allowed to be a member of this forum and should be treated with the same respect as any other poster, while taking into consideration her young age. Why shouldn’t she be allowed to come here and ask questions? This is a Catholic forum and she is Catholic and confused and she is exactly where she should be.
If you don’t agree that she should be a member, why don’t you start your own forum and then you can kick off anyone you want. How dare you imply that she shouldn’t be here!! It is not your decision to make.

Why don’t you start another thread about your problems with what you believe to be a piece of Catholic doctrine - worshipping Mary?? I am sure you would receive many responses and it would be a good thread.

And please have the decency to treat another registered member of this forum with the respect that she deserves, Catholic or not.

Silyosha, I hope that people laughing at Jack Chick tracts is not upsetting you. We laugh at them because if we didn’t laugh we would cry. So many people print lies about the Catholic Church. There is no law to stop them and there probably shouldn’t be any such laws. I worry that you, as a beginner Catholic, will feel forced to abandon your newfound Faith - please do not let the bantering and laughing in this thread confuse you. I pray that you are strong enough and courageous enough to be able to defend your faith.

You are in my prayers…

This is the nonCatholic religion forum of the Catholic Answers website which has a variety of other forums which may be more appropriate.
There are many activities that you would allow your 21 year old daughter to partake in that you would not allow your 15 year old.
Can you stop whith the lecture for a minute.
Take a breath, relax.

Now tell me what on this site you object to.

These people should absolutely be ashamed of themselves!! Although it’s kinda cool the way the red letters pop out at you (at least on the last website - I haven’t checked out the others yet.)

The people who put up these websites probably really believe that they are showing the truth and praying for us “satan worshipers.” I’m sorry but I have to laugh at them because they are so so so so so so so wrong!!!

On the front page I can agree with the abortion article and the article abour Christians in the Sudan. The other stuff I saw was half truths, part truths and outright lies. I would agree with him on Harry Potter.
