Praise the Lord! He has granted Charbel, the hermit saint, the grace to perform more miracles in his native land!
Saint Charbel continues to perform more miracles for the Lebanese Muslim community and win devotees among even their clergymen. Recently, a Lebanese Shi’ite Muslim imam came under fire for professing devotion to Saint Charbel and to Christ, after the former had interceded on the behalf of his mother and cured her of cancer. The imam has refused to renounce his newfound faith in Christ, and has asked that news of the miracle performed for his mother be spread far and wide. This has naturally invoked the ire of many of his fellow Muslims, but the imam is due to appear on TV in order to relate the story of how his mother was saved through Saint Charbel’s intercession- and to praise Christ for the goodness of his saints.
I’ve heard tell that the imam has even invited Maronite priests to celebrate Holy Mass in his own house.

This is a photo of the mother of the imam in question. As can be seen behind her, she has installed a small shrine to Saint Charbel in her house.
Also to appear in this interview is a Druze man who claims to have been miraculously cured by Saint Charbel as well.
