yet did not call Him blasphemer on every occasion. Sometimes they cried blasphemy , sometimes they wondered at the power of His authority, sometimes they just left, sometimes they accused Him of magic…different responses to different contexts…If Jesus said I AM the Alpha and Omega, they must surely shout blasphemy…it has nothing to do with being a false Messiah anymore, it has to do with pure explicit blasphemy.
They stoned Stephen for for blasphemy of just SAYING he saw Jesus sitting at God’s right hand.
So there you go, even just that mere claim that Jesus is Messiah with God was regarded as blasphemy. So what you say is no proof they charged Jesus with blasphemy for saying he is God. They did it because he said he is a man from God, and they didn’t believe him, not Stephen either.

disputing with Stephen. And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake. Then they suborned men, which said,
We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and against God.
Acts 7:56-59 And said, Behold,
I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord, And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul.
And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
