Saint Paul and Islam

And, should I add, many people on earth besides the Muslim seem to share the same perception. Even some Christians. Even some Catholics (or so-called Catholics)…

Vickie, I don’t know if you know about Daniel Pipes but he calls a phenomenon that happens among the ‘moderate’ muslims - sudden jihad syndrome. What happens is that a (so called?) moderate muslim will all of a sudden start killing in the name of islam. And this is what is making us not trust islam/muslims. It is happening more often and we hear of things such as the women in our own countries now being trained as jihadists (an article in jihadwatch.org) and there is a new thing our intelligence found - pregnant belly bombs.

And the doctors that almost carried out another 9/11, and other incidences too numerous to mention - all being carried out by ‘moderate’ muslims.

So the new question that we ask - who is more honest - a radical muslim or a ‘moderate’ muslim?, especially if one reads the koran and hadiths!

jihadwatch.org/archives/019917.php

And as for ‘sister amy’ saying Mr. Spencer is innacurate, or whatever she calls him, she is entirely wrong. He has never acted other than a gentleman, and is another one who is threatened so has to live somewhere in secret.
What you’re stating is not surprising at all! After all, “moderate” Muslims read the same Quran the radicals do! Ex-Muslims will tell you that the radicals are the ones actually following the dictates of Islam as Muhammad desired.

Many Christians also accept the Ten Commandments, like:

Exodus 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

But they don’t accept the punishment for breaking them:

Exodus 31:14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

So who is more honest, the Christian who follows the entire command, or one who doesn’t.

You better follow Elijah too, God sent his spirit as John the Baptist and may send him for real before the end.

Malachi 4:5-6 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Abraham to Ishmael, Ishmael to Abraham, among others. ❤️

Jesus said to stay out of all that fighting among men and preach the Gospel.
Like I said I will not partake in comparing apples to oranges. We do not follow Elijah. I have now stated it three times - if you are that dense and cannot read - so be it.

As for your other notes on Christianity - yes, I am not here to deny that there have been some bad Christians that did bad things. But, I that is in the past. Do you understand time? That is in the past and what the muslims are doing they not only did in the past to other peoples (remember that Indians are not the only ones on this earth) but they do it NOW to peoples.

Our current laws take bad men and give them a trial and mete out punishment if necessary. sharia law does not take into account their law for infidels - a muslim can do what he wants to an infidel. And that means that he can do whatever he wants to you, me and any non-muslim. This is the difference between our (Judeo-Christian) laws vs sharia law.

Jesus followed John as Elijah to be baptized, but you are above all that? Wow.

Matthew 11:13-14 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.

And what happens when you do bad things in the past? You pay for them in the future. That’s just how it all seems to work, doesn’t it.

Whether it was taught by the Church or not. Because the perpetrators happened to be Catholic…

And sometimes they would claim to be Catholic and might have believed to really act Catholic even though we know they actually didn’t…

Boy, you muslims are going to have a lot to pay for since the murder and mayhem still hasn’t stopped and it is still being preached as a way to proceed with their lives.

Just keep that in mind when you so arrogantly tell me that we are paying for our past Christians deeds and actions.

I would say you are a chistianophobe.

Quite often muslims are unable to tell time - what they tell us about what happened in the past vs what they not only what muslims did in their own past, but ARE STILL DOING TO THIS DAY - they just would like to ignore that and keep bringing up their inane arguments.

93% of references to do with jihad in the Koran, Hadiths and Sira, have to do with waging holy war, while only 3% - of the ones often promoted by moderates - deal with inner peace.

Bad Muslims will pay too. But that doesn’t let Christianity off the hook for its own sins.

The difference is I can be honest and admit it. Can you?

I posted something like this in another thread - you muslims think that by researching our Bible and throwing verses at us to either divert us from your violence that is sanctioned in the koran and hadiths that it will stop us from realizing that islam is violent.

Do you really think that because some nasty individual put this violence as a thing for you to follow that it is going to be ok when all is said and done? What mo did was say it was holy, that you will go to heaven, and you will do dispicable acts to get there - that this will be ok and you can do these things and still get to heaven?

I think you are all in lala land - oh, I forget the MEN are in lala land the muslim woman still is chattel and has 1/2 of the rights and can get beaten, raped, ‘honor killed’, etc.

You haven’t a clue as to what honesty is. When you think that doing the most disgusting things in life is glorious - honesty is far from what you are.

I’m not even Muslim, or Christian anymore. I discarded identification with those religions because they are so rotten. So it’s not my violence. I can accept the violence in OT and Quran as a thing of the past, since I also accept the message of Jesus to be non-violent as the thing to do now.

Which you don’t want to do, you still defend your right to violence.

And by retaining membership in a religion that has done bad things, you are guilty of its sins by association, even more if you deny and defend its sins.

So it looks like you are on the short end of the stick here in this discussion.

What do you mean by “Christianity” here? Would you say that when a Christian sins every Christian must pay for what one Christian did? (This question also applies in the case of Jews, Muslims,Sikhs, etc.)

I think that’s how it usually went with Jews in the Bible. There of course were good Jews but when the leadership was bad they all lost their Temples. Etc.

Hum, correction, doc! Not for “our past Christian deeds and actions”! But for our past wrong deeds and actions, whoever we are, no matter if we are Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, animists, Hindus, agnostics, atheists or anything else!

I had no problem being a christian in the military and also supporting my guys in the military. I believe what they do is try to make this world safe and the ones who should be ashamed of themselves are those who follow guys such as Hitler, mohammed and any of his muslims such as bin laden, Stalin, Mao, Che Guevera, etc.
Sounds like “We are the good guys, they are the bad ones!” May explain all your generalisations about Muslims… Reminds me of General Schwartzkopf stating how Saddam was worse than Hitler, and when they came back from the Persian Gulf war he kinda laughed at the Iraqis’ talents as tacticians… I hope you won’t get that haughty, brother!

Even nowadays, if one Jew does something very wrong, all Jews are blamed! this kind of generalisation is very wrong indeed!

To condemn innocents along with the guilty ones is a very wrong thing… as Abraham pointed out to God once!

It’s not that all Jews/Christians/Muslims are actually blamed, it’s just that when wrath comes down on the bad ones, the good ones suffer too.

Like with Egypt, Pharaoh was the bad guy, but all the innocent firstborn babies of Egypt had to pay for his wrong.

Yes, indeed!
