Sainthood cause opened for Zita, the last Empress of Austria and Queen of Hungary

Yesterday an announcement was made-I believe in France-that the cause for the canonization for Zita of Bourbon-Parma, the wife of Blessed Charles of Austria, has been opened.

She survived Charles by many years, and died in 1989. Her husband was beatified in 2004.
 
They were certainly a holy couple and an example for everyone

s4angel-I was doing the link from memory.

Go on Google and put in ‘New Liturgical Movement’-or better yet, put in ‘Zita of Bourbon-Parma’.

There is a site set up for the Cause, but there’s not very much on it yet.
