I realize that I’m chiming in late on this thread. If what I have to say has already been said, I apologize for the repetition.
I found what you had to express to be well thought out and interesting. The fact that you tried to put yourself in someone elses shoes is quite comendable. I may not agree completly with everything you wrote, but I certainly can respect your thoughts on this matter.

Thankyou for taking the time to express your opinion.

I think you are confused TEEN. HE was acting mature, perhaps the question is too mature for you, if not perhaps you would care to clarify:)
You have a habit of making statements and when questioned on it you jump ship (so to speak) or totally ignore the question and make some immature comment. So if you want to be taken seriously please clarify.
Yes, I have in the past. I’m working on it, I’ll clarify. What I meant was that the love between two people that dosen’t harm one another and does not go against the law deserves to be recognized in a legal union. I know you disagree with me, but that’s just my opinion.
🙂

Which “law”?
Sorry just a bit of clarification please.

And what do you classify as a “legal union”?
Does the civil union that homosexuals are granted part of that?

The law that prevents people from having sex with underage citizens and family members.

A union bringing two people together into a partnership by law that has the same benefits of marriage.

No, as they don’t have the same benefits.

No, as they don’t have the same benefits.
So what happens if we just change the laws so you can get the benefits but still call it a civil union?

And shall we violate God’s law in order to make our own law that will justify civil union of same sex?
Nope. I just want to see how much leeway the homosexuals are gonna give people. Is it all or nothing for them. Is it “marriage” with all the benefits (legal) or is it “civil union” by changing the civil law
to extend rights.

Rights are inborn. They are gifts of God. Everything against God’s law could not be considered rights.

I am talking about the “law” the one that the legal system uses (courts etc.)
Here are some examples of what I am talking about.

–Abortion is not a gift from God, but it is allowed and legal and a right.
– Tax laws that benefit married people is not a gift from God, it a civil /federal law.
– Tax laws in regards to inheritance are not a gift from God, it is a civil/federal law.

But same sex marriage is against God’s law. Society can make laws, yes… but not all laws that society makes are in accordance with God’s law.

You said “Teen thread,” so, mea culpa, I suppose.
Its ok. I was referring to TEEN the poster:)

Yes it is against God’s law. And yes society makes laws and not all of them are in accordance with God’s law.
