You really have gone over to the dark side.Ah, I see that Trump is taking a page from the book of his new hero, Kim. All enemies of the Dear Leader must be destroyed.
And you make it about Trump. It says the investigation was launched after former procurement director Yadira Molina filed a lawsuit claiming she faced punishment for reporting illegal activities to the local comptroller. The investigation has since grown to include several contractors.

“Trump” was literally the 6th word in the title of the article. The connection to Trump was already made. I didn’t invent it.LeafByNiggle:![]()

An employee was fired after attempting to report corruption
And you make it about Trump. It says the investigation was launched after former procurement director Yadira Molina filed a lawsuit claiming she faced punishment for reporting illegal activities to the local comptroller. The investigation has since grown to include several contractors.
Only in your imagination, I’m afraid.Twilight zone world version we live in of this cartoon.
“That country?” Which country do you think Puerto Rico is in?LeafByNiggle:![]()
Ah, I see that Trump is taking a page from the book of his new hero, Kim. All enemies of the Dear Leader must be destroyed.
- Trump sent a multi-billion-dollar aid package to aid that country.
“That nation”. It’s been a long week.“That country?” Which country do you think Puerto Rico is in?
The point is, it is part of the US. People there pay US taxes and are US citizens. An aid package because of a natural disaster is not charity. It is the US taking care of its own. And the aid package has not done nearly enough to recover from the disaster. So I don’t think Trump deserves any special kudos for doing what any decent person would do in his place.LeafByNiggle:![]()

I think you’re far off. Guess we’ll agree to disagree. In another thread trump is being defended for praising the North Korean tyrant for being tough and wanting Americans to stand for him the way North Koreans stand for the tyrant.
Catholics here are justifying the taking of children from their parents at the border.
So I’m not too far off.
Twilight zone.
Yes, I know. It was a tired slip of the brain. I meant “nation”, not “country”.It’s a US territory.
Puerto Ricans can come to the US mainland without a passport because they are Us citizens.
It helps when you come here legally, sure.Heck they can even keep their kids with them.
Or was it more a slip of something more dark and nefarious?Yes, I know. It was a tired slip of the brain. I meant “nation”, not “country”.
The title only referenced Trump“Trump” was literally the 6th word in the title of the article. The connection to Trump was already made. I didn’t invent it.
Why did the title reference Trump if there was no connection to the story? We don’t know for sure, but it seems like a plausible connection to me.LeafByNiggle:![]()

You blamed Trump
As the Right have said:Until she and her staff are cleared of wrongdoing, perhaps she should withhold judgment of Trump’s leadership style.
What happened to “innocent until proving guilty”
I don’t believe most of Puerto Ricans pay Federal income taxes? The point is, it is part of the US. People there pay US taxes and are US citizens
