It looks nice! I like the altar especially, and having the tabernacle in the center is a big-time plus. My only big complaint would be the shelving used for the statues. It’s very bulky and severe, and doesn’t really frame the statues very well. IMO, smaller brackets would be better, perhaps with something behind the statues (to make it look a bit more like a niche). I might even move them closer to, and step them up towards, the crucifix to create a “line” that leads your eye to it, sort of creating an old-school kind of raredos.

But I am also curious, who are those statues of? Are they saints of some significance for your Parish/Diocese/General Area?

One statue is clearly Ste Thésèse de Lisieux. The one next to it appears to be the Curé d’Ars. On the opposite side, one looks like it might be Mother Theresa, and next to that could be Padre Pio.

CatholicLife will have to tell me if I’m correct.
 
I have to agree with those who suggest that there is an underlying reason for the OP’s question. I hope the OP will share it.

As for the furnishings and layout in general, I more or less agree with japhy. Nice that the Altar is solid, and from the looks of it, ad orientem should not be a problem, although at missa solemnis, the sub-deacon would have to stand below the visible step. The photo cuts off there, and of course there is no altar rail at all, so it’s difficult to tell if there is another step or if it’s the nave. Again it’s hard to tell, but it does seem that there’s enough room to push the altar back a bit (toward the tabernacle) to allow for easier ad orientem use and still have plenty of room for the usual.

I’m not thrilled by the design of the tabernacle (a little too 1970s for my taste) but it’s acceptable, if a bit utilitarian. And of course I’d prefer the candles actually on the altar, but the ones there seem to be ok. I would change the carpet, but that’s very minor.

those are probably pretty good guesses. The only one I knew for sure was Mother Theresa, and thought the one could be st. John Vianney

Therese of Lisieux, Mother Theresa, St. Pio of Pietrelcina and ? --not St. John Vianney. This dude looks Black to me. John Vianney always wears a VIOLET stole, never red. And he has that frantic white hair.

The saints are Francis Xavier,Saint Thérèse de Lisieux,Blessed Mother Theresa, and Padre Pio.

I don’t like the upholstered walls, personally. Otherwise it looks okay. What does the rest of the church look like? Any stained glass windows? When was it built?

Perhaps I’m a bit biased because my husband and I were married beneath that very altar almost five years ago :D, but I’ve always thought St. Mary’s to be a very beautiful church. The picture (as with any picture) doesn’t do the whole church justice. The tabernacle is actually rather ornate and “traditional” in style, with icon-style saints, I believe. The statues (new to me) are a distinct improvement over the old cloth banners, also.

At the time (we’ve moved away), they also had beautiful niches with candles dedicated to Our Lady of Perpetual Help and the Sacred Heart.

Hi! i feel warm when i look at your picture, like it would be the perfect place to relax and meditate. to realy be in a small area with the most biggest and most powerful person ever God Almighty! One could realy rest there and feel comfort and secure. Loved it! Love of Christ Nancy
 
Looks fine to me. I perhaps would not put the statues up on those shelves but that is really just a personal preference
