I do not believe in abortion as a way to solve one’s issues. I also don’t believe in war, capital punishment, unfettered capitalism, magic hand of the markets, trickle down economics. Where does that leave me? Neither the Republicans or the Democrats meet my opinion of a perfect society.

I favor no electoral college and a multiparty system. In such a system, there would be several candidates for one office, and if no one candidate received a majority vote, there would be a runoff between the top two vote getters.

There is no such thing as a “perfect society.” That is in another place. Anyone selling utopia is a liar and anyone trying to use the poor as pawns are evil.

I have asked the question before and I will ask it again. What does it say about this Pope receiving from Evo Morales and communist through and through. Where he gave this Pope a mock crucifix by using a hammer and sickle (the common symbol of communism) in place of the cross?

Does that mean anything? Or no big deal? I am assuming it is no big deal, cause in your list of dislikes you conspicuously left out totalitarian governments and any religious leader hoisting their political views on THIS COUNTRY.

What do you think when Bernie Sanders said his trip there was NOT POLITICAL?

I have never considered myself a socialist. While I do like social security (it did mean my mother did not have to rely on her kids and as a 60 year old, my kids won’t have to have to give me a bedroom) and I think businesses need some controls put on them and I think that building codes are a good idea, I am not quite sure that makes me a socialist.

Btw I don’t like any religion controllun the government of the U.S.A,including the Church.

And in case you didn’t notice, I said UNFETTERED capitalism.

I also did not say I support Sanders.

If anything, I am an FDR Democrat or an Eisenhower Republican.

Well, you mentioned all of the hot button topics that socialists always accuse capitalists of. Like “unfettered capitalism,” and most importantly “trickle down” economics.

Not sure why that is such a bad thing. Trying to figure that out. The free market has given more opportunities for those who are willing to pay their dues to make it.

I am not saying greed is not a problem. That, is as much of a sin as sloth or lust. I am saying there is an utter lack of appreciation of the free market and everything that it has done. I am sick and tired of EVERYONE pointing their boney fingers at America.

I can show you the list of charitable actions by this country. Every time there is a natural disaster, this country gives more than every country combined. EVERY TIME.

People will say this country “invades” other ones like Iraq. As if saddam was this decent man who was not torturing his citizens when it was well documented how oppressed the people were. Which means it was a LIBERATION, not an INVASION.

In the mean time I have heard very little about the systematic slaughter of Christians around the world by ISIS. Instead we are lectured that we should take in refugees from those regions when isis said they are going to use the refugee movement to infiltrate the west?

Hardly a thing about the murderous attacks? Says it is evil for country to consider a wall, while the Vatican has a large stone wall surrounding it? Massive security and our country would be evil if it had one?

I am wondering if you hate unfettered totalitarian governments like you apparently hate the free market that is the fairest of all the systems. Did not say it was fair in all cases, and I am not selling a utopia. I am saying what works most practical in a monetary system.

Torturing? No, it is called enhanced interrogation. Water boarding is something that our special forces go through. It is not torture to make someone feel uncomfortable. Again, more absolute false lies being spread in regards to that.

I did not say they should let in MILLIONS, but they can let in a lot. I saw they let in two families. I assure you, they were vetted big time. Big time.

The country has had eminent domain and if you actually researched what it is, you would see why it is necessary at times. It does not make people homeless, which is what you are insinuating.

Yeah, he did yuck it up with the Castros didn’t he? They are totally unrepentant and they are arrogant about their disposition. They still murder people, they still have dissidents imprisoned. They still are unapologetic for the murders of Catholics for decades. Not one attempt at repenting from any of that, and the Pope made no attempt to visit those who are currently imprisoned.

Want me to list the atrocities over the last 60 years by that regime? No?

Socialism and liberation theology is a disaster to the human race and for everyone to insist that it is “moral economics” has no clue what they are talking about. As though there is some mythical utopia out there.
