Saudi man kills daughter for converting to Christianity

How terribly sad.

What is even worse, the killing, either by murder or state-sponsored execution, of former Muslims who convert to Christianity if frightfully common.

It should be pointed out that in Saudi Arabia, the penalty for converting from Islam is death. As this was carried out by the religious police, and apparently the father was part of the religious police, he may only incur a “conflict of interest” penalty, that is if he is punished at all. Other than some possible procedures, what happened to this poor young martyr is perfectly legal in Saudi Arabia. Do not forget that.
 
As long as we keep buying oil from the Middle-East, I think we are going to see alot more ex-muslims being slaughtered.
 
Huh? I don’t see the connection there, Charlie Zeaiter. This woman was killed because of her conversion, not oil politics.

Actually, I disagree. I think as long as we this religion, born from sources that are not Divine exists, we will see this. This type of evil has been happening since since the 7th century. And it will continue as long as Islam survives.
 
This isn’t an issue of dark ages mentality. This is as per instructed by the Qu’ran.

The people who are governing the Middle-East are lunatics. International pressure is needed to rid of these people so that decent people can govern the Arabs. But, as long as we in the West want their oil, we’re not going to put any pressure on them.

So, ex-muslims will continue to be slaughtered. Who is going to save them from the terrorists that rule the Middle East?

A horrible true story.It is the reality in islamic world.It is the tradition in islamic world.Ya killing the apostates.In another thread we were discussing about some hadiths which ordered to kill apostates&later my dear brother sam_777 had posted those all hadiths what ordered to kill apostates.I am sure that Lord Jesus surely took this arabian girl(who has been killed ferociously)to heaven.May Lord Jesus bless her soul.Amen.

Im not saying the Catholic church is wrong, im saying that her/his comment about the weakness of the islamic way, is wrong. I can understand why the Islam says the internet is a bad influence in their eyes and it has nothing to do with the so called weakness of there faith, they want to protect there children who are uniformed at that age from being led a stray and to prevent their…damnation, for lack of a better word.

Also freedom of Religion is a relatively new concept even to the Catholic church. They at one time supported the oppresion of other religions or heresies to protect the 'simple" people.

I think we have to understand that not every one on this earth is living in the same time period of moral development or civil standards. We cant expect everyone to be like the western world. The Islamic culture is still very much living in an Old Testament mind set, where parents had the right to kill there disobedient children. It was not wrong then and its not wrong now.

Also imagine how much faith you have to have, to kill your daughter for your God. These are human beings just like you and me with the same emotions, I would not be able to do it, but he loved his God more than his family. I think that God is smiling upon both of them right now.

I just knew from TV that this martyr Fatima was contacting the site of Saudi converts to Christianity, and wrote a 50 verse poem about her conversion …that is how her brother knew about her conversion and killed her.

If a Christian kills a Mohammed in Riyadh, there would be road block around the city by the Department of Interior aka Saudi national police looking for the killer. In this case, Muslims are practicing what they’d been preached by their imams and Mohammed.

i was reading her final letters of contacts with the Arab Christian converts to Christianity and Muslim friends. btw it was her brother nor her father .who killed her…she was a teacher…he is detained but Saudi authorities turned the case into “honour killing” because it could badly affect the “reputation” of the country…

In her final letter to Muslim converts, she expressed being in a big trouble…she expected her death…but i cannot translate everything it takes time…

very intelligent woman…i am reading her articles on the muslim converts forums…

May she pray for the enlightment of her country that God leads them to the true path…
