Is that why Muslims have treated Assyrian Christians worst than dirt for 14 centuries?

Muhammad’s idea of tolerance is humiliation and subjugation. No thanks.
Treated like dirt? What are you smoking? If they were persecuted then why are there still millions of them still living there?

Millions left. Those who stay are treated like dirt. Look up that word “dhimmi”.

And yet, even with these wonderful sounding letters of friendship, the Koran says the exact opposite, in Mohammed’s own words. This is typical of Islam, to tell your enemies that you desire peace, while telling your followers to kill them. It’s done to give Muslims a chance to recover and regroup after a defeat. When I have more time I’ll find the Koran verse that talks about precisely this.

If things were as bad as people say they were then there would not be any Christians there, period. There would be no churches left, no holy sites, yet we see thousands of them still there, still active as they always have been. Look at the drawings by Englishman David Roberts as he traveled in the middle east in the 1830’s through 1850’s. Notice the majority of his scenes are of Christian sites and activity. Not exactly a good reinforcement of modern anti-Muslim historical revisionism is it?

You’ve committed a ‘black and white’ fallacy, jerry. Just ask the Assyrian Christians how they have been persecuted for centuries.

Persecution is evil, in case your moral compass is so skewed by your desire to white-wash Islamic evil that you can’t tell right from wrong.

Indeed I have heard the story from the horses mouth, and it is you who sees things “black and white”. You simply do not want to accept the fact that Muslims in the past may not have been as bad as you wish them to be. You see Muslims in your mind as evil orcs with no sense of goodness or decency in them, you turn them from human beings into monsters, dehumanizing them, degrading them. I suggest doing some reading up by reading this page by which is maintained by a Catholic priest from the middle east, Father Labib Kobti, who currently resides here in the US. Then maybe you will see that things in the past were a little more complicated than your simple mind makes them out to be.

Sorry - I have lived in several Islamic countries and experienced the dhimmitude. I have relatives in Muslim countries too.

You do not know what you’re talking about, Jerry.

Which countries and for how long?

I have given too much personal info already, not that my personal history has anything to do with the truth about how Islam and Muslims persecute minorities.

Nice try, you have no reason not to just list the country names. Looks to me like you may not have been there after all.

I know your tactic - Make it about me - not Islam or Muslims.

Why should I give you my life history? I have debated Muslims for years - my anonymity is important to me.

Read my previous posts - does that tell you I don’t know about Islam?

I am not asking about Islam right now, I just want to know what countries you have been to, there is a big difference between Saudi Arabia and Turkey, for example, and where you have been would make a big impact on your views.

What? Have you lived in Islamic countries? What gives you the right to make pronouncements about Islam?

How many Islamic countries have you lived in? How many relatives do you have who are Muslims, jerry?

Let’s see, I have 2 friends from turkey, 8 from Iran, 1 from Pakistan, 1 from Indonesia, my priest is from Lebanon, plus there are all their family members as well, most whom I am well acquainted with. And of those, people, 1 from Turkey, 5 from Iran, and the Pakistani are Muslim. Now unless you are some government agent, I really see no point in hiding where you have traveled to.

So you have ‘friends’ but have not lived in a Muslim country as a persecuted dhimmi.

Enough said. Somehow I must live in a Muslim country but you don’t.

Why the hypocrisy?

I don’t give out my personal information because it is dangerous - I often go back to visit relatives and friends. I could be locked up for what I have done.

Locked up?! Ok now I do not believe you at all. There is not a single Muslim country where an American cannot visit these days. Stop playing childish games with me. Even if what are saying was true (which it clearly is not) listing the countries is not going to reveal your secret identity, James Bond!

That shows you know nothing about Islam and Islamic countries. It is illegal to say anything against Islam in some of those countries, American or not. Do you think those tyrants care about Americans? How many Americans get locked up in Islamic jails? Ever thought of that?

Or worse. The Islamic country I visit is known for making people disappear.

Then be so kind to list it and I will look it up on the HRW website which would have a good detailed analysis of these things which you speak.

By the way the majority of the tyrants of which you speak are propped up by the US government, in case you did not know 😉
