They said 1965. IDK when it was. If 1965, it was around that time that people started believing lies more regularly. The reason seems to be the same though, that the recipient would acknowledge it is God’s Body and Blood before receiving and say “Amen” in thanksgiving.
I have talked to quite a few people recently who were receiving the Eucharist regularly and did not go to Holy Confession by their own admission, saying “I don’t believe I have to.” Heretics receiving Communion is the first issue the Church needs to address. This is worse than world hunger, war, and the drug problem COMBINED.
If heresy is as widespread as many Catholic sources are reporting, heretics receiving Holy Communion is the single greatest problem there is in the entire world. We must realize that if we offend God this way, many souls will be lost. He loves us and that is literally His Body and Blood.
I think that if what many are reporting is even remotely true, two things need to happen ASAP:
- The creation of an order whose mission is to crush heresy in the Church
- Priests need to give homilies about Holy Confession, the Eucharist, and heresy. People need to understand that Christ is gravely offended if an actual heretic, or a person in a state of mortal sin, receives the Eucharist. I don’t think most Catholics even understand what heresy is anymore, so some of them might not be in mortal sin but only Christ knows.
I have heard of Bishops in Germany supporting adulterers receiving Holy Communion, so I can not imagine how bad it is over there. I have had a priest advise me that if I am married outside of the Church, and not repentant and not celibate, that I can receive Holy Communion if my conscience tells me I can. - He advised me to commit sacrilege against the Body and Blood of God if I essentially “felt OK with it.” He has an entire parish under his care.
I don’t understand how this is happening when we are required to acknowledge that the Eucharist is the Body and Blood of Christ and give thanks with an “Amen.”
