And priests at ordinary parishes can and do wear a cassock. If you are at an ordinary, diocesan parish, the priest will most likely be an ordinary diocesan priest. Certain parishes are staffed by order priests, but that will be stated in the bulletin or other church material.But don’t assume every traditional priest you meet is SSPX. There are traditional priests with full approval from Rome who also wear the cassock - FSSP and ICK priests for example.
To find an SSPX (not in communion) or an FSSP (in communion) priest, you’ll have to go find their specific chapels.
