After reading another post here, it gave me courage to ask for help through prayer. I have been living in a bad situation in which I have not been able to break free from. The only source of love and actual affection I get are thru my pets.

Recently my special friend and pet, Barney the Bengal Cat , disappeared. There are many things that could have happened and being severely bi-polar on strong meds, but even still, the not knowing if he is even alive has begun to affect my mental state. I have prayed not for myself but that my Barney come home safe and unharmed. I fear I will never be calm and at peace with out knowing. I won’t stop looking and calling him. I am not sleeping well because of it. And I am slipping towards falling apart. I am also hoping for a change in my living situation which is isolated and subject to abuse and control . I feel out of touch with the spiritual community, but my faith is strong and I pray every day. I try to never ask for thing for myself. I feel unworthy to ask. This is why I ask for your prayers.

I would like to ask for your prayers for myself and my pet. I pray for the strength needed to accept what ever outcome must be and that I can find joy in my heart one day and to live in peace in my soul and the power to get past my disability. I need strength and positive emotions so that I can ask forgiveness for all my sins in the past and lead a good fruitful life that I was intended to live.

Thank you for your prayers. May God bless you in your endeavors.

I’m praying for you and Barney. May the Lord bring him back home safely and may He also comfort you.

**Holy Mary, full of God’s presence during the days of your life, you accepted with full humility the Father’s will,
and the devil was never capable of tying you up with his confusion.

Once with your Son you interceded for our difficulties, and full of kindness and patience, you gave us example of how to untie the knots in our life.

By remaining forever Our Mother,
you put in order and make more clear the ties that link us to the Lord.

Holy Mother, Mother of God and our Mother, to you who untie with a motherly heart the knots of our life, we pray to you to receive in your hands (the name of the person),
and to free him/her of the knots and confusion with which our enemy attacks.

Through your grace, your intercession and your example deliver us from all evil,
Our Lady, and untie the knots that prevent us from being united with God,
so that we, free from sin and error, may find Him in all things,
may have our hearts placed in Him,
and may serve Him always in our brothers and sisters.**

Read: “The Miracle Ship” by Brian O’ Hare (it’s for sale on amazon.com, as paperback or ebook download onto your phone/ tablet/ laptop),
Sr Briege Mckenna is friends with the guy the story is written about, a guy called John Gillespie who God healed of an incurable bone disease, and then called the guy into the healing/ deliverance ministry. It’s also based on a book written by a healing priest, on how Jesus showed us to pray for a miracle (with 100% faith :),

Hail Mary,
Full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb,
Jesus
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of death,
Amen

Prayer for Return of Lost Pet

Father,
We beseech You to help Flonkette
to find Barney, her dear cat who
is now lost. We know that you placed
animals on the earth for many reasons,
including companionship for people.
We therefore ask you to help us
find our lost companion, and pray
that You will keep Barney safe and protect
him from harm until he is found.
We join our prayers with St. Francis,
St. Anthony of Padua, and all the saints,
and pray in the name of Jesus Christ
our Lord. Amen.

**Our Lady of Mental Peace **

O Lady of Mental Peace, Mother
of Tranquility and Mother of Hope,
look upon me in this time of disquiet
and weakness. Still my restless spirit,
teach my searching heart to know
that God’s love for me is unchanging
and that the suffering which He may
will for me now is to draw me closer
to Him. Let thy gentle peace and His ––
which the world cannot give ––
be always with me, that I may be
sanctified. And then, I beseech thee
for the grace to bring this peace
to others. Jesus, My Savior, I give
myself entirely to Thee through Mary.
Our Lady of Mental Peace, pray for me!

Amen.

I am about to say the Rosary for all intentions I have tagged on CAF today. I will add you and your beloved cat to my list. May God bless you both and may St. Francis please protect your cat and, with Jesus, guide him safely home to you.

(Try putting his litter box outside so he can smell his way home. Also make sure to post his picture to all community forums and pet finding forums in your area. )

St. Ignatius of Loyola’s Prayer Against Depression

O Christ Jesus
When all is darkness
And we feel our weakness and helplessness,
Give us the sense of Your Presence,
Your Love and Your Strength.
Help us to have perfect trust
In Your protecting love
And strengthening power,
So that nothing may frighten or worry us,
For, living close to You,
We shall see Your Hand,
Your Purpose, Your Will through all things.

Hello, I wrote a long reply and thank you for all your prayers. But it seems to have disappeared, so I am writing this second post just in case the other never appears.

At 10:00 pm Barney just showed up and walked in the door! I want to tell you it had been six nights and seven days in heat over 100 degrees. I had begun to lose hope because so many days in the heat I did not feel it possible he could survive.

Barney came in in perfect health and good spirits. He was mighty hungry, but other than that unharmed. I am completely convinced I was blessed by all of the prayers here. I feel once again in my life I am offered proof that the love of our Lord is there when we are in need, and that our prayers are indeed heard and answered.

I have been blessed my whole life and the prayers that you all offered for me and my Barney were answered. I just wanted to tell you all thank you. The Lord and our Blessed Mary have brought my Barney home and the weight of depression has been lightened. It’s as if I feel my shoulders are lifted. There is Joy in my heart knowing so many others cared sooo much. Thank You. I also want to thank the Lord and to thank Mother Mary, because my heart was breaking, and it is not anymore.

🙂

That’s great news 🙂 Please don’t ever feel unworthy of prayers and loving thoughts, take care
Prayers and offering up for you X

Divine Mercy Chaplet

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!
O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!
O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

I’m glad that your cat showed up! Thanks be to God! Praying for your other intentions…

Prayer To St. Aloysius Gonzaga

Dear St. Aloysius Gonzaga, you are the patron saint of youth because you died so young and in such a state of holiness. You are best known for your virtues of purity and repentance. Please intercede for all adolescents today who are growing up in a culture that discourages those very virtues. You were fortunate to have two Saints as your spiritual directors: St. Charles Borromeo and St. Robert Bellarmine. Pray that our young people may find role models in the Church that they can look up to and strive to emulate, just as their mentors strive to emulate Jesus.
Because of your kindness and compassion St. Aloysius, I also ask you to intercede on the behalf of all those who have posted intentions today, and for people who have asked for my prayers. Pray that we may all be as zealous for God’s glory and as charitable to our neighbor as you were, even to the point of risking our lives for them. Pray that we may all see you in the Kingdom to come and be able to thank you face to face. Amen.

St. Aloysius, pray for us!
