Just out of curiosity: did you study geology or are you a scientist? I’m just curious on what expertise you base your knowledge.
Can’t you guess. My guess is that you may not listen to anyone with less than 7 letters after their name. Which may not be a bad thing in itself.

No, I can’t guess. Can you guess what my profession is?
Why don’t you just tell me what you do so I know on what expertise your knowledge is based. Of course if you don’t want to tell me what you do, it’s fine. Like I said I was just curious.

Btw, I don’t get what you mean by me only listening to people with 7 letters after their name.

Incorrect. The Farallon plate began subducting under the west coast of the North American Plate during the Jurassic Period. Which means your volcanoes did not exist at that time and that area of the Farallon plate was then under the Panthalassic Ocean.
Since the Cascade volcanoes did not exist at the time, they were never submerged.

Don’t worry about that. Why would I tell you my profession? Everything I am saying you will find in any geology book if you are interested.

Like I said, I was just curious on what you base your expertise. Since it is untrue that everything you say is found in any geology book, I am not convinced by any of your claims and don’t just take your word for it. So I chose to reject them.

Granny, thanks for the flowers…😃
So Inocente shared them.😃

Maybe common sense will catch on in this thread.👍

In my humble opinion, regarding human beings, Catholicism has the most common sense.
.:yup:

I can’t even find one website on the internet that claims all parts of the earth were once covered with water, except for religious sites.

Common sense is here to stay, I’m afraid. I have always felt that to be true about Catholicism

So does Geology. I have never heard of IRC. Would you care to retract what you said.
Only if you’ll retract your claim that Mt. Shasta – which I know intimately from climbing it many times – formed beneath the ocean.
